EA Sports FC 24 Nintendo Switch Review - Is It Worth It? 

The IGN review is more in depth, I think i'll 'pass' on this game!

@@SHIGUFEVER Do we? Believe it or not, for those who play regularly it can vary pretty noticeably from year to year. This year for example, the difficulty settings are tweaked, with this iteration being a little more challenging on Legendary and Ultimate compared to '23s. There's also quite a few bugs in Career Mode eg. If you get a man sent off during a match, one of the opposing team's players will sometimes turn invisible, often ruining the game. On top of this, if you try to sack one of your tactical coaches, the game will completely freeze up and require a restart. Of course if such issues are found on Ultimate Team, by far the games' biggest money spinner, it's nearly always corrected in a matter of days. Not so with Manager or Player Career Modes. Funny that. Personally, I'll be waiting for a patch before considering purchasing on PC, though realistically I won't be holding my breath, given most of the immersion breaking bugs still exist in last years awful effort.

This is a Chris Scullion review, same guy who gives the same NBA game every year 9/10, and refuses to update his scores when they add microtransactions a day after launch.

I held back on buying the Switch for two years, because I was waiting for a PES game... it was a bad day for me when Konami themselves confirmed they had no plans to make Switch version of PES / eFootball.

FIFA 18 on switch had better gameplay. it was much more smoother

@@castro2406 I got used to it now & I didn't like it but at first because I found it slow because I'm so use to playing on PS5, plus there's been a few updates since & they've improved certain things. The crowd/fans look like cardboard cutouts lol but on the pitch everything looks great.

No it's not unplayable, we played FIFA at 30 FPS our entire lives, you're just used to 60 i guess, but 30 is well playable once you get used to it, the main issue is when the frame rate changes

I doubt it, we can never cross play from Switch to anything else.

@@mikaknight1855 I just didn't have fun playing FC24, and I felt like it was a waste of money. Luckily, I sold it at the black Friday price that I paid for it. Next time I'll take the reviewers word for it.

For switch it looks really good. But you have to play it to see the big improvement
