Map on WRC Generations looks more natural and realistic but on EA WRC looks more like generated by AI or syntetic?

I own both games , if you can afford only one of the two , go for WRC GENERATIONS, it’s more exiting to drive , specially on the curves , sliding the car and the graphics are more photo realistic, EA WRC some stages are boring and graphics looks more Video Game … Xbox 360 era with HD remastered alike , EA WRC have better Car sounds in general..the menu presentation on EA WRC are obsolete compared with GENERATIONS…poorly designed..while GENERATIONS have real pictures of the licensed drivers , EA WRC are cartoon…just ridiculous at this point on actual console , GENERATIONS you can adjust the cameras as you like …distance , weight , height …EA WRC are fixed view …I would rate in general GENERATIONS 9/10 and EA WRC 7.5/10 and if you like Rally , also get Dakar Rally, it’s freaking fun with trucks , bikes and car in a wild MAP US Tour and SAUDI Arabia Map …. 9/10 !

To me EA generally looks better. But generations feels much better when playing. I feel like I have to actually practice on generations to learn different maneuvers and when I switch car classes in career.

I have them both ...put 400hrs in WRC Gen ,and only 50 in Ea WRC ...guess WHY? Because EA games are crapp!

I got EA WRC for my birthday since it had the latest line-up (at the time it came out). But with so many things locked behind a paywall, I'm thinking of trading it in for WRC Generations. Super disappointing how EA's fan-unfriendly DNA has permeated such a well-respected studio like Codemasters.

For me, there is still no competition when it comes to the control and feel of the car, there is the first Dirt Rally, and when it comes to content, graphics and pleasure of the game, Dirt Rally 2.0

Because what turned off people in its release is the constant stuttering and performance issues. It was all now sorted out and can be played even on a 3050 in high settings at 70 fps. I didn't even imagine a UE game can be optimised this well. Credit to where credit is due but Codemasters did a good job of patching the game. Too bad people are now too lazy to give it another chance.

i bought WRCG since its on sale and decided to check it myself. but it messed up my g29 wheel (ffb and rotation) when i switched back to EAWRC. and is it correct that in order for my g29 shifter to work as a sequential and my cheap handbrake, i have to install a couple of software and manually configure? tia

How the fuck do game producers manage to make game worse than a 5 year old Dirt Rally 2 with 10 year newer technology? I mean KONAMI screwed up eFootball now EA fuck up what was supposed to be the ultimate rally game. In wrc Generations you can see in the cockpit view the reflections of the trees and shadows on the dashboard and light changes accordingly in EA WRC is constant light no matter the position of the car , you can see it in the beginning of the video

Generations pisses over EA. Sorry, the cars handle better, better sense of speed and overall more enjoyable, I think maybe the car sounds are a bit crisper on EA but thats it

Agreed, I got every WRC game except 4 on the current steam sale before they eventually get delisted, but I will be buying 4 next month along with EA WRC. It's a fucking shame WRC got bought out by EA strictly so they could eliminate WRC as a competitor to Dirt and have a monopoly in the Rally Racing subgenre. Now the only thing that can potentially compete with them is V-Rally, but they haven't made a new V-Rally game since 2018 and it wasn't even anywhere near as good as WRC.

Both looking horrible, so it's either the studio or WRC who is screwing up this year by year. The physics and sounds where great in Dirt Rally 1.0. physics is great in Richard Burns Rallye. I have no idea what they are doing at Codemasters for EA WRC. EA WRC Looks like a painting. My first thought when driving on tarmac was am I driving on chewing gum or what is it 🙈🥴 and these horrible looking creatures, they look like from The Walking Dead

Other than weather effects, i really dont see how anyone says WRCG looks better, it looks good and more aesthetically pleasing, but WRCG looks more like a game to me than EAWRC, but maybe thats just how my eyes perceive it, either way, both games are still alot of fun

physics are shameful in EA's game. Look at that rigid af suspension and don't get me started on the cars pivoting at their centre while cornering. Embarrassment of a game.
