If you choose the Novice 2 and put all its electronics, motors on Novice 1 whoop type frame you'll get a much better result! Novice 2 by itself flies longer time than Novice 1, and being in Novice 1 frame will be even a bit lighter, so more longer time, smaller size, usable indoors as well... And besides, you can put in this new construction the VTX transmitter as Novice 3 has (it's about 15$), and you get even more range, up to 400mW, and the SD slot for onboard video recording And imagine how much speed, flight time you get with 10 battery Novice 2, in tiny Novice 1 more resistant and secured frame design... and 1S/2S batteries for this will be cheaper than 3S's :)
Terrific video DrainMan! I've seen a couple of these. Yours is the best in that and you've gone to the extent to show it needs some tuning to make it work. Kudos! I'm a newbie. Was thinking of this and a FrSky Taranis X9 Lite as a radio. Like to do a SIM in the winter. Too cold here to fly. What do you think?
Thanks Budsester! This is a great little quad but the goggles and radio aren't really going to be good for a starter pack, if you are looking to get into the hobby and stay in the hobby i would recommend something like the twig (linked below) and the radio your talking about is great and then grab some Fatshark goggles, even if they are just the recons that way you won't outgrow your gear right away. For someone wanting a one time thing, or giving a gift then this is perfect. but if your going to really get into FPV then i wouldn't recommend this. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uxp6SBBx0e8.html
Hi! What do you think, can Novice’s 2 electronics put into whoops frame, for example 75mm Trashcan’s is pretty solid, and fly like a developed Novice 1?.. :)
I have a motor which died on my novice 2 and so I have to replace it but it is a motor which does not run in the same direction so I have 3 motor which runs in the same direction and I don't know how to reverse the direction of single motor rotation. And now I can't fly anymore and I'm sick of it = (
DrainMan FPV Please help me I have the Novice 3, How do I put the drone in bind mode. Noboby seems to know, I just got this thing a few days ago and I must have touch one of the two buttons on the side of the drone and un-paired it. I'm new at this and tired of flying the boring predictable DJI drones. Thank you
@@DrainManFPV Aight ^^ +Do you know if I can use that reciever (Eachine ER8 2.4G Radio ) for the Eachine Tyro69? Might want to add the Tyro69 to my shopping card if it's possible to configure with the ER8 :)
@@markb5373 when you purchase the tyro69 I believe you get options to purchase a receiver, they usually offer frsky and crossfire (sometimes) you may be able to bind to the frsky if it's D8
Thats bad advice. Novice or not you need to turn MOTOR STOP ON and set the min throttle. if the newbie pulls the throttle all the way down by accident it the motors will stop and there new whoop will drop out of the sky
Or... When the drones on the ground and you forgot to disarm and the motor stops on and you accidentally flip the throttle and flies into your face... Now that's your motor stop on experience.
