My Eachine Novice-IV is going to be coming in tomorrow and I do want to put a GoPro on it, I have a Hero 5 would it be too heavy? or should I save up to get an insta360?
It may be too heavy, I was already pushing it with the hero3+ which is already quite a bit lighter than the 4 and 5, insta360 go2 or 3 would definitely allow you to capture HD footage while maintaining a decent flight time
Great video. I have 5 DJI drones, Mini 3, Mini 4 Pro, AIR 2S, AIR 3, & DJI FPV Drone. All Fly More combos. I also got the Autel Evo Lite + Premium Bundle 2 weeks ago, but I haven't opened the Autel yet. I just ordered the DJI Avata 2 Fly More Combo on the 1st.. besides the DJI V2 Goggles that came with my DJI FPV Drone, I have the Integra Goggles Motion 2 Combo. I bought this Eachine Novice 4 FPV package in June of 2022, but I've never taken it out of its case. Do you think this drone, is still decent in.2024, & I should keep it? Or should I sell it, & buy a Digital FPV quad, since I already have severel sets of DJI digital Goggles?
In your case since you are so far integrated into DJI, you have an advantage with the goggles which allows you to get into digital FPV much smoother. The Novice 4 kit is still a great analog FPV kit even now so I guess it us up to your preference.
The full face mount is exactly what we've been looking for! My son and I want to mount our hero 3 on his Novice IV. Do you sell those? I don't have access to a 3d printer. Thanks!

Well you're right. It does fly. . Not a hero 10 but it does fly with a full go pro. Cool. Oh your intro could be a little shorter. First part of it is super cool already

Hi. I bought a novice 4, but it is not arming, the buttons all work, it turns on, the GPS LED is blinking. But the engines don't start, do you know what it could be? Is the flashing gps light normal? It appears on the screen the asterisks when I activate the key E , but not armed...
Yeah so from the factory the quad comes configured so that you have to connect to a minimum of 6 satellites to arm (because that also enables GPS rescue since you are arming with satellites from a known point). You can disable it if you would prefer to just fly without GPS rescue upon take-off but that is more of a preference/comfort thing haha. Hope that helps!
@@wendellluciano Yup I don't remember the exact setting name but it is hard to miss. Should be somewhere under the GPS tab, it will say something about requiring 6 satellites to arm and you can uncheck that (at your own risk of course). That is how I have been flying it because I don't get very many satellites oftentimes haha
@@Adam_Carbone Hi friend. my novice iv, only has two flight modes, Air, Air and Ang, where it should have Hor is Air too. Could you send me a print of your mode settings? Another thing, is it possible to fly with it using the barometer, to stabilize the altitude? thanks
@@wendellluciano I don't believe it can stabilize itself with the barometer in Betaflight, maybe something like inav, and regarding the horizon mode all you have to do is go to the mode tab, and look at the AUX the other modes are on, set horizon mode to that AUX and then put the switch position in the right range (first position, middle, or third position) if that makes sense 😁
