Been flying this quad for 2 weeks now. I’m digging it. Long flight times. Steady 1km range in my rural back yard. GPS return and buzzer all work great. And durable. I’ve kart wheeled it several times at speed and nothing but battery ejections. I’ve ordered replacement legs for it and all legs are the same which is nice. Awesome kit to get into it. I wasn’t sure I’d like the t12 transmitter but I’m loving it. It will replace my taranis as my daily

on paper this kit perfectly fits both my budget and what i want out of my first unit. i would love to see the followup video you mentioned, and will be keeping an eye out for it.

There's like 50 channels that do that and they are sprouting up like weeds everywhere. Also, the FPV drone companies are sending more than ever to those guys since they are able to convince all the suckers to buy buy buy.

1 of the 4 of my batteries does not charge properly.. it actually discharges when I plug it into that blue charger. I am looking to buy a much better charging unit. I lost my GPS rescue unit after a crash on soccer field.. remember to hot glue or tape it down. velcro broke in half and broke 2 arms. But I love this drone AND cheap to fix.

One arm so far and wires pulled out of motor ,lost gps but found , chopped off reciever antenna and battery strap is pathetic, but it flew well before all this and enjoyed flying it. Now the fix.

Use hot glue or clear rtv silicone from The Home Depot and the antena tubes will stay in.

So I tried to bind my Novice 4 because for some reason after not flying for 4 months waiting on replacement parts.. it unbound it self - using Betaflight the drone was spinning really quickly. Anyways I accidentally erased the whole drones factory settings. Buy a new Novice 4? Tx12 settings were all messed up too.

Sounds like its pretty messed up. It will be way easier to just start over with a new one and use the existing stuff for spare parts later when you learn more about how to repair your drones.

I am trying to find the bind button ... it unbound it self after not flying it for 3 to 4 months.. the Tx12 isn't reading it. Can u do another video.. showing radio stock screen settings. goggles still give video feed from drone just fine.

You can add an ExpressLRS receiver and TX module to the radio for longer range.

I'd personally go with a tiny whoop kit for safety but if you feel like you can handle this bigger and much faster quad, it will work fine but this one probably won't take a lot of abuse and crashes that most beginners will subject it to.

My TX12 croaked while I was learning to fly on a simulator. Just got it back from factory but of course, the model is gone and it's no longer bound to the drone. When I build a new model for it, will the GPS rescue work or will I have to set that up in Beta flight? Thanks

Can someone please tell me how to reset my novice 4 rtf kit. I plugged into betaflight trying to set my switches now it won't do anything but it acts like it's still binded... Anyone help me please
