Outstanding video ! thank you for mentioning my channel ! That is a really nice knife. AUS 10 seems to be a very capable steel. Thank you for the video !
I see a huge improvement on your feather sticking from your early videos. Im sure the blade is a small part but i believe 90% of it is skill. All these knife reviews your developmenting some very fine skills. Love the knife as well. It's so refreshing to see attainable knives being tested. So many over the years i watched all turn to these channels with crazy priced knives. The part that really gets me is how they don't like criticism about anything. I believe their afraid they'll lose their freebies. Oh well I love your channel
Good job!!!! I’m impressed. Love my BRKs in 3V but I think I have to have one of these. Especially for a larger occasional/specialty use knife. Thanks for the effort you invested to demonstrate its capabilities.
Thanks for noticing. Sadly, I don’t think I recall running across your content prior to this morning. I subscribed to make sure I explore your previous videos and am alerted to the upcoming ones.
Wow this knife is awesome! Really appreciate your demonstration and I figure if it can withstand this it can do pretty much anything. It's definitely on my radar now. 😊
man i am in love with EF knifes now that ive got a few i cant wait to start testing them and putting up the videos im actually going to take my daughter to disney world this weekend so i will put up a few videos showcasing the first 3 knives i will be tetsing when i come back. Keep up the great videos Gruggs
Thanks for the awesome review. There you go again being a bad influence for my out of control knife collection! Your video convinced me to go get this knife. Like others said, I couldn’t make up my mind on the handle color so I got both! You are a bad influence! LOL
Do you think that batoning through house AC electrical wire could be a good test of its toughness. I think nails is a bit much but surely electrical cable would be a fair test?
I think this is going to be my first Eafengrow. Love the looks and practicality. Puts me in mind of an Busse Combat. Have you tried this one with a ferro rod?
@@LegionTacticoolCutlery I remember you saying the spine was somewhat rounded. You scraped some fluff and it did okay. Not fantastic. But I don’t recall seeing the ferro rod. I could’ve missed it though.
I just pulled the trigger on the green one and have wanted it since I first saw it lol, I could see an XL version of this being absolutely amazing. Go with a 9" blade thats the full .25 thick (or even a little bit thicker 😉) and the full 2" width, do some micarta scales but add some palm swell contour like you mentioned and green kydex sheath with the green handles. An option for a coating like dlc or something just to cut down reflection but not a thick gritty coating, im saying all that without holding it yet and realize that would add to the cost but man oh man that would be sweet 🤣. Have you ever talked to them about making a model of knife? I wonder if I talked to them if they would even consider such a thing? Great review and thanks for showing!
@LegionTacticoolCutlery hit em up and see what they say you never know they may love the design especially if they don't already have something similar in their line, I would be curious to know if they're into that or not and you'd have a better chance with a bigger channel lol. If they are and you don't mind letting me know my email is in my description box.
Hello. It is really nice knife and I want to buy one, but I read many discussion about Eafengrow steel false advertising. Do somebody have some detail informations about Eafengrow steels? Thanks a lot.
Hi. Apparently they have fixed this issue with having a different manufacturer make their knives. That is what the rep said. What ever the steel they are using, they are doing it right cause every knife i tested has been fantastic. I understand the concerns though and I am only going on what the rep is telling me. In the meantime plenty of other manufacturers out there for you to choose from.
@@Lukas-g5ethis is outdated information because all of this happened many years ago I believe at least four or five years ago and has since been corrected. Their newer knives have been tested and have been shown to be the steel they claim to be. Perfectly valid concern, but I thought I would alleviate you.
