I love that nothing seems to bother you - always saying "no worries" I find that while I'm sewing, if I get too intense, I say "no worries" and I relax and enjoy the process! Thank you for my new mantra (besides "it's only fabric and it's only thread")! I'd love to see that on one of your shirts...just sayin.....🥰

Quilting Marine, I think it is great that you not only Sew but Also make it memorable with your subjects. (Ex service, Ex military wife, Military Brat... ) I learned to sew at 4 years old( in Ramstein) From my mom and up to the level of making my own clothes. Your Easy explanations help immensely! I have sewn in many different manners. But since TBI.. I cant figure out perspective, colors, some times numbers.. being able to stop, restart ....Think, go back and see the "pictures" is what I need. Thanks for showing the Flanged Border in in one video (Under 15 minutes!!! ) And in this video - The way to set up the applique' for your Marine quilt. Its hard not to Iron down the Pieces-parts and not have them up side down, or cut them un-square or (understand that the pieces make the WHOLE... ) Your Having a project board behind you as well, is a great visual) Keep up the good work!
This seems like such a complicated quilt top, but I know that good things come from taking care and taking the time to do it. You have given me the courage to think about learning how to do appliqué! Thank you, Mark!

Perfect choice of Fabric for the Eagle. I have that fabric in my Quilts of Valor fabric bins. Yes, plural, I have several bins filled with Patriotic fabric.

Hi as anew quilter I have always wanted to do a quilt of valor in honor of my dad and you have inspired me to make not one but two, one in honor of my dad and one for my brother n law w ho is being deployed for the 3rd time so as soon as i can find fabric i will be making them I was hoping that you wouldnt mind if i took your ideas with uniforms and used it in my quilts
