This is likely because a hawk screech has been incorrectly used throughout media to represent the bald eagle. Probably because of how goofy the bird sounds irl but still.
Do some of you legit believe this is what a bald eagle sounds like? The original video this was taken from is "Call of a Bald Eagle" by Tristan Findley with the audio manipulated. It doesn't sound like the stereotypical eagle screech, but it ain't this either.

When I was young my grandfather took my dad brother and I fishing in Alaska. Bald eagles were everywhere, it was an incredible sight considering how much rarer they are in South Carolina where I live. I think I’ve seen 4-5 bald eagles ever in South Carolina, whereas we saw flocks of 30-40 eagles in Alaska. We cleaned our fish on the boat and would throw the carcasses to the bald eagles who knew the boat would feed them. The sky sounded like an army of eagles making this noise
