I love this man! I have been to so many doctors and not one of them has articulated this level of comprehension about the issues I have faced for about 20 years now. Why is it that it seems to be almost impossible to find a proper level of expertise for upper cervical and cranial issues amongst most doctors?
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy 4 года назад
Thank you for your kind words, Aria. So sorry that you have been dealing with these issues for almost 20 years! If you would like our team to review your case, please reach out to us directly. You can also fill out a case intake form on our Neck Pain section on CaringMedical.com. Upper cervical cases can be highly complex and difficult to treat. This means for doctors to develop effective treatment protocols, they need to really be obsessed with continual learning about the area and extremely driven and dedicated to the challenges that the cases present. Most simply do not feel that way and are drawn to other specialties or wish to have a more simple practice with straightforward cases. Nothing wrong with that, but it makes true cervical spine specialists much harder to find. Luckily for our patients, Dr. Hauser is absolutely fascinated with the neck and nerve connections, and is driven to find solutions for people. Over 3 decades of being a physician, it has become the primary focus of his practice. Wish you all the best in health! Thank you again for reaching out.

Hi Zomblair, sorry to hear what you're going through. The ER does not do Prolotherapy consultations. It's an outpatient, private physician's office treatment. Even still, these are not widely studied or known conditions. So, probably would be most suitable to see someone who understands cervical instability conditions and how to treat them. Wish you the best. If you would like to come to our office, we're happy to discuss your case with you. Take care for now.

I was diadnosed with eagle syndrome with a 5cm calcified ligament identical on both sides.alao tmj,and every single pain point you descend I have pain chronically .i went to the supposed head of board of directors doctor at ou medical and warned me against any aurgeries but didn't offer anything in the way of relief.i was punched by my ex in the neck as hard as he could, along with every other part of my body.he also used his 4th degree master in taequandoe to utilize a chest punch to the heart which I had to get chiropractic help to put me back together at the front ribs and clavicles.also kicked me in the back causing partial paralysis due to bulging disk from L5 down in my right leg.too bad his big fat inheritance paid his way out but I am finding it impossible to get pain relief due to not being able to work.was just seeing with nutrition if it is possibly reversible but no luck

Been operated 20 years ago for Eagle's, but never thought much about the other symptoms I didn't even know were related. But, I'm just a bit confused, I have all the symptoms mentioned in this video. Is that common/normal? You're not gonna tell me I have all 3 syndromes, right? I used to crack my jaw when I was younger, I can't do it any more, but when I open my jaw wide it still has this little "hump" it jumps over. My neck I can pretty much crack on demand, still. People also never believed/understood why I hate massages, nor do I understand why people love them. Guess this explains it. When some one rubs my shoulders/neck I feel this soft but really annoying pressure in my throat right under my Adam's-apple. Sharp pain "attacks" in my throat and/or inside my right ear I haven't had any more since the operation. It felt like uneven pressure you get when swimming or are in a plane, but with agonizing pain on top. Almost like your eardrum was about to pop any moment. The past few years it has come back a handful of times though. But not like it was, 2 - 3 times a week, and eventually it became so bad they started giving me morphine just to cope. At that point the decision to operate was finally made. My surgeon was reluctant to do it when I was still able to deal with it without having to go to the emergency (for the morphine) because he said it was not a difficult operation, but dangerous since all your nerves going from your brain to your body are right next to it. I never heard of prolotherapy though, nor does this video explain anything about it.

Hi Rakley 3, Thank you for reaching out and explaining more about your case. Actually, it is very typical of what we see here. Nobody ever really examined most of our patients with unexplained neurological symptoms and feelings in the head/jaw/face/neck/throat that it is coming from cervical spine instability. Most of the time they chase symptoms with medications or look at MRI for something that can be cut out or fused with surgery. Prolotherapy is the regenerative injection treatment that stimulates the body to repair, specifically ligament tissue. Why ligaments are so important is because they hold our bones together. But when they are overstretched, they cannot do that and the vertebrae move too much and pinch on various nerves and other precious real estate running through the neck to get to the brain. When this area is unstable, it can result in horrific, disabling symptoms. This is what our clinic specializes in helping with H3 Prolotherapy. We treat patients who travel from all over the world. You can learn much more about what we do on our CaringMedical.com site, including complete a case intake form to see if you are a good candidate. Wish you all the best!

I have NO idea what I've got. I've got no tenderness or pain anywhere, but all of a sudden out of nowhere I woke up one day, and now whenever I swallow, it feels like a clicking in my throat when my head's at resting level. If I tilt it up or down, the clicking doesn't take place, but since this has happened I'm also finding myself feeling the need to clear my throat *constantly!* to the point my voicebox feels worn out. I hate it and just want it to go away :(

That was a big help I had the pain in my neck to but didn't think it was related. But along with this my eardrum has been moving around (with my head) and in pain. Considering Barre-Lieou can be cause by whip lash. And the eardrum by sudden loud noise. Could this nasty cough/chest cold I have be a cause?

Unfortunately I have ehlers-danlos syndrome and since most doctors do not understand that the disease is also (even though studies are available) connected to rheumatic conditions (for me its ankylosing spondylitis) thus my styloid has calcified, I have tmj, ernest syndrome, and barre-lieou syndrome. Unfortunately when all of your ligament and other collagen containing components fall apart (technically the body separates into 16 planes instead of 4 due to the posterior muscle retraction) the weight is distributed over a smaller area leading to damage everywhere. Unfortunately as I have arnold 1 chiari malformation, tethered cord, respond poorly to anesthesia, and do not heal well (all common to eds) prolotherapy is my only hope to be able to leave my home again or even get around the house. Since all of my facet joints double rotate it cuauses my vertebrae to fold over each other while the as causes the inflammation which makes the connective tissue attempt to calcify (sometimes it succeeds like in my styloid ligament) so my spine will be the first area. I am really looking forward to it.

Hi Roger, Thank you for reaching out and sorry to hear about the eye pain, trouble breathing, and tinnitus you're experiencing! A lot of people come to us thinking they may have Eagle or Ernest syndrome and when we do a Digital Motion X-ray to see their spine in motion, it is clear that there is cervical instability that is causing their symptoms. In most cases, Prolotherapy would then be the treatment to re-establish stability. Your symptoms are among many that are associated with upper cervical instability.
