I saw the Eagles and of course they performed Hotel California back in the late 70's and just saw them last year in Northern California. Probably my favorite band of all time....aside from the Doobie Brothers...Wow. that is incredible writing. And the great thing about The Eagles is that they all are lead singers...Great reaction!
As a teenager of the 70’s this album was the “soundtrack of my life” amongst many others. You go ahead and admire the cuties and their fine instruments and musical talents. BTW the guitar with two necks has six strings on the bottom and twelve on the top. Much love ❤️
From left to right on the guitars were Timothy Dalton, Glenn Fry, Don Felder, Joe Walsh and Don Henley on the drums. Every member sang their own individual sonds and did harmony with their bandmates on all of their songs. Don Felder was put out of the band many years ago and Glenn Fry passed away quite a few years ago, which pretty much ended The Eagles. Their music will last forever as long as some younger listeners give them a chance.
"Timothy Dalton"?? He was an actor who played James Bond in a couple of movies decades ago. The first guy on the left in this video is Randy Meisner, who was the original bass player in the Eagles, and who wrote/sang a couple of the group's more memorable songs. ("Take It to the Limit" is probably the best of those.) Meisner died in July 2023, so he is sadly no longer with us. Not long after this video was shot in 1977, Meisner left the Eagles and was replaced by Timothy B. Schmit on bass/vocals. Like Meisner, Schmit is a fine singer/songwriter, who also had a couple memorable songs with the Eagles. ("I Can't Tell You Why" is the best known of those.) Schmit is still with us and still with the Eagles as of Dec. 2023.
I never get tired of watching people react to this performance. It’s so perfect and great. Fantastic band, wonderful song! What more do we need? I like your enthusiasm. Great choice! Nice reaction! 🌺✌️
This is a pleasure to watch you discover what brought so much of us joy throughout our childhood, soundtracks of our life. Until the 2000’s; we had True Musicians, Music with Heart, Substance… Country is the last genre that still remains true musicians. The Eagles not only was a successful group on their own, but members went on to have successful solo careers.
Great reaction! Love your honest take on the song and how you feel about the band. 3 great guitarists on stage in one band is rarely matched. Your take on the song was not only original, but refreshing!
I grew up listening to the Eagles saw them twice in concert, as soon as I was you were reacting to them the fist thing I thought oh she’s going to want to be between the guitar players. LOL.
Now i literally melting🫠 this is so good. This song is a part of my childhood and youth. thank you for taking and showing/viewing this. I really enjoyed your video.
There's 3 songs that always fought for the #1, 2, & 3 "Greatest 100 Songs Ever" they counted down in the 80's every New Years Eve growing up. They were 1)Led Zeppelin "Stairway To Heaven" 2)Queen "Bohemian Rhapsody" 3)Eagles "Hotel California" we would make bets which one would take us into the new year.
Here is another outstanding band and song!!! Creedence Clearwater Revival - "Born On The Bayou" It is 5 minutes long. This live version is also the studio version!!
I just about died when u said two horns, two sticks😂😂😂 girl you are too funny and I love your channel! This is of course one of the greatest Eagles songs. My favorite band 💙
Don Felder and Joe Walsh on the guitars are fantastic. Don Henley lead on the song and drummer, wrote the lyrics for the song. My favorite is probably this one, but "Desperado" and "Take It Easy" are up there too. "Peaceful Easy Feeling" is playing as I smoke and write this. A lot of great songs from them. Have a fantastic day.
You've got good taste in me...er, I mean guitarists! LOL! You picked out the guy who composed the music for the song, Don Felder. You actually got me laughing out loud...for real.
I visited The USA and Canada for 7 weeks from London in 1977 and it was fantastic and we started in California. I am told Cali has changed since those golden days as shown in The Lynyrd Skynard video of "Freebird" in Oakland in 1977 on RU-vid. Has it changed?
Hey bestie this one liable to get you hooked on the Eagles you gone be well known in the hotel California That is Don Henley on drums singing lead here there are several lead singers in this band they will not only uncross your legs but will have them wide open lol you must do more by them listen to auntie on this
I absolutely loved your reaction to "Hotel California"..I laughed so hard..😂😂..the first reaction I watched of yours, was Staying Alive..and I'm hooked..you are not afraid to be yourself! I love it..keep em coming, darling😅.. oh yea the guitar you like is a double neck guitar..
I saw them in 1995 "Hell Freezes Over" Tour with Timothy B. Schmidt not Randy Meisner. The best 42dollars I ever spent in my life. hung out @ BB Kings after the show. Legendary, Joe Walsh took over at the end.
One of the dudes in the Eagles Glen Frey had a good career after the Eagles in the 80s see what you think bout Smugglers Blues by him watch the video of the song its like a movie... 😁
lolol Thank you for making me laugh as always! Yes, but the Eagles are so multi-talented. The lead singer here on the drums is Don Henley who also had a great solo career. In fact, many of them have their own songs and their own solo careers as well. "Hotel California" to me, is about the greatest American rock-n-roll song of all time and Eagles are also the greatest guitar band of all time (alongside Lynyrd Skynyrd) imo. Please keep checking them out!
Dualing Guitars 🎸 were the best thing, and Joe Walsh (red bandana) went solo check out his songs. For sure listen to the song- Life’s Been Good 👍🏻 Also check him out current day still rocking out doing some music with Daryl Hall on his channel Daryls House it’s great!
Yeah, and then some. Some of it is drugs or pot, "We haven't had that spirit here since 1969". Warm calitas at the beginmning is a refer bud.@@kshavon3098
