Guitarist Dimebag Darrell was such a f**king cool dude. He treated everyone like family. I saw Pantera many many times, and Dime signed my arm once after a show and I got it tattoo'd on permanent the next day. Its nice to know that Dime is still putting smiles on faces 20 years after his passing. RIP Dime and Vinnie
This song is real early KoRn, in fact first track on their debut. That other song was a light radio single. But KoRn has great collabs with rappers like Ice Cube (seriously recommend that one) and a video they did w/ Snoop Dogg. To their credit they always tried to bridge rock + rap. I saw ‘em live that year elsewhere and they rocked.

Beastie Boys were the kings of sampling, so you may also recognize the beat from 1 of the samples included on the track. This one's got some Led Zeppelin & AC/DC samples iirc. The year this was released was 1986.

Beastie Boys started out in the punk scene and somehow managed to become old school hip hop gods. They are always hilarious and have some of the sickest beats around. They are VERY good at what they do. I recommend checking them out live at Madison Square Garden doing Brass Monkey. Also, pretty much anything else. It's always a good time with the Beastie Boys.

The lady in the picture on the wall is actually his mother whom he was quite close to because he wasn’t very close with his father because his father wouldn’t accept him because Johnny actually had quite a bad drug habit. His drug of choice was heroine and cocaine. The lady standing on the staircase is actually his wife June who actually died three months after the release of this song and Johnny died six months after her. The song was originally done by Nine Inch Nails but they allowed him to do it because it best described his life with his drug habit and his ability to push people away.
