This is Jalen Hurts’ offense as it has been for 3 years. They tailor their approach to what the players want to run vs actually improving him. If the Browns aren’t playing man, we lose. He had 4 less carries than Barkley, and since they are always in shotgun, a Hurts preference, the running game is mostly inside zone. Saquan came off the field yesterday complaining he “can’t get going” because he is taking the ball flat footed while the D is moving full speed. The best run play yesterday was called for Kenny Gainwell, left off tackle. First time I have seen that run called.

Jalen has been checking at the line, the last big catch to AJ was a check at the line, but the reason there feels like there is no identity and the offense is just run this play run that play is cause sirianni is overruling play calls on offense and defense he should have been fired last year and nothing gets fixed until he’s gone

At this level of professional sports, a head coach really has to learn to ignore the hecklers and not engage. Unless this team turns itself around and actually gets backs to the superbowl, I'd be shockd if he's back next year. It really feels like Stiechan and Gannon were the main reason they were so good 2 years ago.

It’s absolutely FASCINATING to see the lack of criticism about Jalen Hurts. He’s quite literally the reason the offense does not work anymore. It’s not coaching, it’s not their defense, it’s the QB. The reason, I suspect, they won’t dive into deep criticisms of Jalen, is because their previous words and opinions were so devastatingly wrong, they fear their own credibility. They were claiming Jalen was the MVP just last year.

I find Hurts regression to be a little baffling (not an Eagles fan or hater). He's clearly exceptionally talented and his success two years ago wasn't out of nowhere. However, to claim he's not being criticized over ego is a really quite the hot take. This is why the comments section on youtube are endlessly amusing. Y'all need some media literacy.

I’m a huge Eagles fan, and I hate Nick Sirianni. I haven’t liked him since I read I read the cliff notes on him in the first reports of the Eagles interviewing him. It was much worse than I thought when he had his infamous first press conference. I thought 2022 was the team taking Nick for a ride. But other than that year, he has been everything I thought he was at the start: a word salad of platitudes, hallmark greeting card wisdom, and Peter Pan advice. He has no football bonafides at all, and frankly I’m concerned about Jeffrey Lurie’s ability to find head coaches. Generally the team has had success because Howie Roseman is the best GM in the league and they have the best offensive line coach in history.

This is an amazing team of players, the fact they cannot seem to get revved up to win is very concerning, bc they looked defeated at the end of '23 too and they don't like a bit different since, I'm an Eagles fan and every game this season has been annoying. I think they really should have just fired Sirianni bc Hurts is solid. He's not perfect but he's as good a QB as you'll find out there today and he clearly is being affected by the dysfunction. It just seems like this team gets in their own way all the time

Jalen has been killing plays and checking to other looks all season.. if you watch the falcons game, he was doing it every other play.. he did it less vs the browns but it really was the first time this year.

Hurts actually does a lot of checking at the line of scrimmage. He’s wrong as he always is on Jalen. The turnovers are one thing but this year hurts has been changing multiple plays and protection at the line.

Eagles offense was so predictable in the first half. Hurts in the gun every play and either an Inside zone run with saquon that constantly got bottled up, and then throw a go route to AJ Brown. No reason for doing anything, just doing it for the sake of it and that is 100% the reason why Sirianni has to go

Defensive scheme used by most of the league against Hurts....flush him out of the pocket, he'll typically go to his right and throw an incomplete pass to the sidelines on the fly. This offense has been run on the ego of J. Hurts and his running capabilities. Eagles haven't really developed an offense that has any real diversity in plays called, when said offense falls flat.
