Eagles ridge Mount Barney traverse hike/climb/scramble 

This is one for the endurance ! Amazing this is just a small video of some of the terrain I'll post a larger video later.
we navigated our way over Tom’s thumbs and onto isolated peak before descending to the saddle and up eagles slabs. A quick detour to get a vantage of leaning peak and then it was on to north peak before ascending east peak and out south east ridge, completing what is known as the Barney traverse.
This is a very challenging route in terms of rock scrambling and distance but also navigation and it’s only something to attempt if you are very able and confident with all of the above, all up 12 hours hiking car to car and we had also organised a car shuffle.
