As a fan of the Chiefs, but a greater fan of football, it would be a disappointment if the Raiders didn't want the division outright, despite losing their HC. The Chiefs and Broncos will be fighting for last. The Chargers are good, but I'd take the maturity of Carr and the Raiders over them.

Raiders actually look better without gruden predictable ass play calling

We look way better because that horrible football coach isn't there. Gruden was just negative and a black cloud that had no feel of the game till we got behind. A lot of times it looked like he was coaching in 2002 with those predictable playcalling. I am glad he is gone.

Gruden's problem was, he was a good coach, not great, predictable, but his biggest draw back, imo, was his lack of adaptability. Plus, he didn't really utilize his team as best he could- Ruggs for instance deserved far more plays then he had before this season. Credit where it is due, he set us up well. Got good player, built good foundation. Now, they need to finish what he started

I don't like that they have allowed teams to get a glimmer of hope in the 4th quarter by letting them score, if they keep letting teams come back when we have a big lead, one of these days it will backfire and cost us a game.

@@angelhr79 it’s very different from how it used to be. I mean, up 3 scores is very different than up 2. And yeah, miracles happen, but playing prevent is best for our players health. Sure, put it on the line and be aggressive throughout the game. But once it’s won, let’s just be comfortable and hold everything in front of us. It’s not just about this week, but the next 10 weeks. Gotta stay healthy - and go back to 2016 last game of the season, had the game on lock, Carr dropped back to throw and there went our playoff hopes. Gotta be smart, too.

If the score is what you look at, it was 30-7 before Vegas stopped ripping apart Philly and chose to run straight up the middle over and over to chew clock. The eagles' own sports channels will say that the game was never close.

Another thing we for the longest struggled to put weaker team away and played good against good teams that always drove me nuts so I like the way we're winning games we should , I almost wish we didn't have the bye week and keep the momentum going

I'm more ok with it than previous games because they were up like 3 scores, not up by 8-10 points. Didn't like that last possession of the 3rd quarter though when they were backed up near the end zone and didn't at all try to get the 1st Down.

Raiders are always playing conservative when they have the lead. even in 2016 when team finished 12-4. lot of games were close due to conservative playcall

I think Gruden was the man to get them out of the gutter, but not the man to get them to the heights.

Yes and no, the same was said about Carr he has legit weapons like the 2016 campaign. Gruden was accountable to a certain point, but seems like the players still were reserved around him. Now that they had that “issue.” They’re just opening everything up and putting the foot on the gas pedal. It’s getting to be a really good team or the makings, they gotta clean up some mistakes otherwise it will then be a complete team.

The way I look at it is that the Raiders and the Raider Nation are a product of (rip) Al Davis... what he had going on against the NFL when he was alive still affects the Raiders 'till this day... who to blame???... I got nothing but love for Chucky, even though he beat us in the SP when I was in high school
