That Dallas Goedert catch at the end of the game reminded me of the George Kittle catch down there in New Orleans a few years ago. It looked like the same exact play. The only difference was that Kittle had to break some tackles along the way. Both of those catches won the game on the road in the Superdome.

I love our birds but I have watched the hit on Smitty in all honesty it wasn't dirty. The refs didn't blow the wissle. He hit him in the back and Smittys helmet popped off. As a former Football player we are always taught play through the wissle peroid. It looked dirty in real time but it was a clean hit and the player was just doing what he had been taught since little league. This is on the Refs if anyone

Saints fan here, but i've also liked the eagles since i was a kid (McNabb, Owens, Andy Reid era). It's always a banger when these 2 teams play. Up until the last 2 minutes i felt like this game could go either way. I also was pissed about the hit on Devonta Smith. I follow closely the teams with players from Louisiana on their rosters, and Devonta is a Louisiana boy, and in fact we are from the same parish. This game was a pure struggle for everyone involved, and the game of the week imo. Also, none of us here in Louisiana thought that the saints "were the best team in the league through 2 weeks" as the media has been saying Lol. Remember, we boo'd Carr to the bench 3 times last year, and while we certainly look "a bit better", an even better football team showed us the flaws in our game. Wishing Devonta, and AJ a smooth and speedy recovery, and big honors to the eagles Defense. If they show up like that from now on, yall will only have 1 loss this season.

Kyle Hamilton, Jessie Bates and Antonine Winfield Jr are the only safeties who can play man coverage well. When safeties have to play man, they're usually covering crossing routes which is nearly impossible given the traffic going across the middle of the field. He has allowed a 45 passer rating when targeted this year as well as only giving up 40 yards in coverage.
@TedTeddy-ej3dp Blankenship is at his best in zone coverage or playing deep in man coverage. Playing deep in man coverage is how he came up with his two interceptions. Only thing about zone coverage the Eagles are not good in zone. They are good in man coverage.
I disagree with everyone about Nick, I mean 2 years ago everyone gave him credit for being an aggresive coach now becuase it hasnt work people have a problem with it. I mean I beleive that a couple of those I wouldnt have chose that call. But that is the Coach we have until we dont. Aren't those refs in the booth there to one, for protection of players at all cost & 2, preserve the integrity of the game of football itself as a whole!!??? Where has this game gone to Philly Mike?
