In this video, I will show you how I make my best selling ear savers. These simple, yet amazing ear savers have been a life-saver for so many, including, many doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals, teachers, retail workers and even young children. This pattern is designed and developed by me during the height of the pandemic and it is still my best seller to this day.
Supplies you will need:
*Fabric: I prefer to use a woven cotton for my ear savers, but you can use whatever fabric you like. Size of fabric for a 6" completed ear saver is 10"x3"
*Elastic: 1" wide x 4" long
*Buttons: I prefer to use 1" buttons but have used slightly larger 1 1/8" and am currently using slightly smaller buttons 7/8"
*Sewing machine & thread (although you can sew these by hand)
*Tube turner (if you have one)
*Safety pin

if I wanted to use snaps instead should i make it longer?

Yes, I've made them with snaps. I'd add 1/2 to 1 inch to each side, that way you can place your snaps and not lose any of the length. I've done them with 2 sets of snaps so you can adjust the fit.
