Welcome to Crochet by Starlight. Don't let the name fool you, I do much more than crochet. I was not very savvy when I chose my channel/business name "Crochet by Starlight". At the time, I truly did expect to spend the rest of my life with a crochet hook and yarn in hand. Sadly, my hands have gotten to a point where the repetative nature of the crochet and knitting crafts are unhealthy and the recovery is long.
Two years ago, my journey changed and now, I have opened my hands and my mind to a myriad of crafts and I am constantly challenging mysel to learn and grow in my crafting journey. Join me and let's craft together, let's have some fun, be creative and grow together.
You can use UV resin. It would significantly slow down the process as you would need to let the resin cure every few stones to prevent the stones from slipping. It would also make it impossible to fix any changes in the stone placement should you need to correct the alignment.
Yes, I've made them with snaps. I'd add 1/2 to 1 inch to each side, that way you can place your snaps and not lose any of the length. I've done them with 2 sets of snaps so you can adjust the fit.
Great video. Newbie question: When you find a template could you print the design on printable vinly then apply to cup then rhinestone over the vinly ??
Thank for sharing how you made the hole, I was going to use a glue gun but the rhinestone applicator is perfect because I do have one and thanks a perfect hole. 😊
Hello. I don’t like to start my foundation this way. I made a couple I think it’s messy at the join. Just ugly. If yiu have a nice way. I’d like to know but no matter how I join the notion it’s ugly it’s loose. So I’ll just do a regular base. Ok. The join is much neater.
