HERE YOU WILL SEE THE FDNY BATTLING A PESQUE 10-75 ALL HANDS FIRE IN THE BASEMENT OF A TENEMENT ON 9TH AVENUE IN THE HELL’S KITCHEN AREA OF MANHATTAN IN NEW YORK CITY.
I only found you a week ago and I am new to watching fire videos. I’ve been binging on your videos and the algorithms now send me other people’s fire videos. I check out a few, and say to myself, “Nope. Nowhere near as good.” You are the best. I have learned a lot already and driving my family nuts with terms like “taxpayer” and “cockloft.”
You are learning very quickly you will hear a reference to who the fast truck is they are the crew that will stand fast and enter the building if a firefighter goes down.
Yea!! Glad your feet are dry. Surely having frozen fingers AND tissues would be horrible, indeed! Great knockdown and searching FDNY! Always the best, Thank you EMT,s for watching over the FDNY and civilians. You are the best. Thank YOU John for your continually provide excellent commentary. Blessings to everyone. Please stay safe and healthy. 🚒✨😁
Excellent Job John ... It was Great to see a call unfold from the beginning to the end. What started as a 2 & 2 that turned into a 10-75. Please keep doing what you are doing & most importantly, KEEP WARM!!!
Nice work, John! I love the way you explain the terms, codes and what the members are doing as they work. This old lady has learned a lot about fire operations just watching your vids and listening to your commentary. Thank you! (This being older sometimes isn't so bad. I have time to watch, listen and learn and that's kinda fun!) Stay safe out there, my friend.
I agree! I’m also an old lady (81), who has a lot of time to watch videos. So far, I’ve learned about scuba diving, tow trucks, fire companies and much more! Merry Christmas to you!
Great video John. You are getting to where you are almost as good at calling these fires as the Battalion Chiefs. Bet you could pass the officer’s test!
Jj...and fdny....another great job!! Was waiting for radio traffic requesting haz mat for the safe removal of cases of assorted containers of flammable liquids for safe disposal!!!! Lol
Great video, JJ! This was definitely unique-we don't often get to see the start to finish process. And best of all, nobody was injured or lost their homes. Stay safe and warm! ❤
Hey my Brother John...I hated jobs like this...looking everywhere...its frustrating the longer the search goes on...ya can see and smell the smoke and can't find the source..🤢.Happy Holidays...plz be careful
Another great video in the cold ❄️👍 THANKS.. That's weird turning heat on for the first time, there is a code most places Oct 1st till at least May 1st..if the people were using space heaters that's a fire 🔥 hazard..God Bless stay warm don't be like Frosty the Snowman ☃️..Also God Bless all the members winter fires are hazard and tough all the water it's turns into a ice rink battling the 🥶 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Awesome video John. Your the greatest with giving all the info of what the conditions are and what they are doing. Thanks for braving the cold. Put your gloves in your coat pockets so you always have them. FDNY did an awesome job finding everything that could be there. Happy Holidays...🎄🤗🤗
I am so impressed by the thoroughness pacience of the FDNY to make sure that they have resolved the problwm. And thanks for your instincts and pacience as well! Merry Christmas!
It amazes me how they have a fire burning somewhere in the saloon but the power is still on lol. Good video jj as usual. Love watching your videos. Great work FDNY
Would love to see a video on the affect of all the layoffs of the members. You would be the only person that could do this video and do it justice thanks for all you do my friend
Yep "happy"days are coming with winter frozen lines an slippery all over, they did a great job again, and so did you John, dont forget the boots and the thermo stuff lol, here winter is gone again rain rain and some more rain, my dog refuses too go out hehe.
JJ Thank you for another good video. I was going through some of my early fire videos and came across yours from 9/11. I never seen them before. Stay safe and have a Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Hi JJ. My wife was going to bake cookies when she asked me, where's the rack. I told her it's on the corner of 9th and 47th st. With the green becon. Nevertheless, I'm not allowed in the kitchen anymore.
I should visit New York just to check out all the food options. I live in a town of less than 1300. To say options here are limited is an extreme understatement.
On this video where Yellow Cab, drove over charge line is very bad in my book. I am a Fire Police In Pennsylvania, the area where Fire scene. No vehicle traffic or people in fire side, blocking a block back. Keep up the good job you are doing Filming. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Great job as always! The crazy thing is I was just there last Friday, I had dinner with friends at the Galaxy Diner across the street. When I came out I spotted Ladder 4 with that same spare rig turning at that corner. Too slow to get close up video unfortunately but that's life lol.
Great video mate, sounds like its been a busy time, stay safe Pal and keep warm..... 47;30, standing at the bar waiting for who is next to buy a round... sorry mate could not resist
Thank you for sharing the beginning to the end!! It’s wonderful to see the members doing the “nuts and bolts” of an operation. Hope you all weathered the nasty little storm! Take care and Have a fantastic Christmas and an awesome New Year! ❤️🔥🎄🎁🚒💥🍾❤️🔥
Great coverage my friend was a little confused with the acting units from the west side did recognize them and of course the usual suspects showed up from the other 10-75 like you said not all fires are spectacular but this was good to see 2N2 brother 1:05:58
george did run around in sunset park in the winter snow in 1970 naked. well in didnt bother him. but we took him back to grand mom apartment to warm him up. crazy kid.
You know when the bar catches on fire and the fire department has to show up that something got so out of hand that it got blown away out of proportion or something just blew up and so I've been told alcohol is flammable so it's one or the bother but either way you know for sure.. whoever the cause is they couldn't handle it
How come fire department don’t evacuation of all the building until they find source of this fire you have people on cell phone in deli with no wonders in the world smh
They can't be sure it is only the basement when they put the ladders up. Might need to evac from roof if it turns out to be in the walls or things go bad fast, lots of possible scenarios. It's pretty much standard for all departments to have emergency egress plans, meaning ladders of various types.
Good Morning John 😊 Do you ever sleep? 🥱 you are on top of most all the fires and more all hours of the day and night. You are by far the best at what you do. Thank You for your time and as always great coverage. Merry Christmas 🎁🎄🎄🙏🏻✝️🦌🔥🪵
