My favorite way to eat collard greens is fried with a little bit of bacon and served with cheese grits and pulled pork. That meals is an Alabama delicacy! Collard greens with bacon and a little bit of brown sugar served with white beans is another yummy, hearty southern staple meal I grew up on!
My goodness, what a harvest! Amazing amount of food!I don’t see how you do it all! My peppers are blooming like mad! I’m watching them daily and watching for the groundhog…..he’s not going to get any of them! 😂 Keep going Kim! ❤❤❤
@@Gemma_626 Google Hearty Sol V8 jiuce. I follow that recipe but I add a little honey, a cucumber, some fresh basil and whorcshire sauce. I think that is how you spell that sauce.

Agreed. I wash my greens extremely well. I will soak in salt water if I feel there may be bugs 🐛. My mother says I'm going to wash the "green" out. Lol
Looks Great! Ive gotfen a few tomatoes and 2 cucumbers is all this year :( nothing yet from my greenstalk. My daughters not gettin much either seems to be an area thing. Dreaming of Greenstalks as good producing as yours.
Very nice harvest Kim! Can you do a series on preserving what you harvest? How do you preserve? Those greens look amazing. I'm in zone 6a in NH, so this helps me so much with time frames... when to plant.. when to harvest, etc. A lot of these gardening channels are from down south and I just don't have the same weather as them.
I’ve never tried them. I’ve seen people sauté them like spinach with garlic, onion and preferred seasoning. I keep saying I’m gonna try it but my leaves are all eaten up from bugs.
