We hooked up with Dennis Lacy of the Early V8 Garage and used their ebrake kit on the #Pomonapanel. We only used the ebrake parts from their kit but they have a complete juice brake kit for 1932-1938 Ford that originally had mechanical brakes!

1934 Ford Panel Truck
1948 8BA flathead
1936 Ford 3sp Trans
1934 Ford rear banjo axle
1932 Heavy Dago dropped axle

Damn that was sketchy removing those springs…I usually put a piece of all thread through with a nut on each end and slowly loosen the nut relieving the tension. Works great.

The center bolt was still connected so no need for all thread, the spring is double curved so it try to roll as it uncompresses. It's hard to get them back together also!

In order to get a lower ride, I'm thinking that spacer block should go on the bottom of the spring and not the top. That way the spring will move up into the cross member giving a lower ride. By putting the block on the top after removing the leaves nothing changers. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The shorter springs will keep the longer springs from flattening... so actually if I need to gain another 1" I can switch the block to the bottom.
