*These work with rod and reel or tip ups **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it’s good for keeping snow out of the hole and to greatly slow hole freezing. They are not heavy so need to be held down by tip up or some snow/ice shavings if windy. Have not had them freeze down even when placed in wet ice shavings.*

i like to drill 3 holes about 5' apart. 1 for a rod/reel with a live minnow, one in the middle for my transducer, and the right one for jigging.

I gotta question Nick & Brian? I took a small regular bobber like the old round red & white and drilled a small hole on top and added 3 regular bb’s in it and plugged the hole!! I’ve done this with larger bobbers open water fishing and drives the fish crazy, specially Northern’s ! But icefishing I know is a little different? Do you think it would scare the fish to much??? It's nice to say we can afford 2 augers & carry out more gear while walking out, but if I am searching with an 8" auger that means that's my auger I have..... not a great tip.
