Hey I’m actually trying to go to school for that here in America. I don’t know if it’s as difficult to become one in candy as it is in America. I’m currently getting a bachelor in psychology next I’ll have to go for kinesiology and then I can apply for the occupational therapy program and even then there’s no guarantee I’ll get into the program. They only accept 50 students each year.

So so glad everything checked out alright at the hospital! I just feel the need to say something about the situation with the baby. I know we don't know his diagnosis or all that goes into your situation, and that is okay. In fact I just love you guys more for trying to be protective. I do want to say that no matter what this precious boy's diagnosis is; I'm gonna think he is a miracle and wonderful and I can't wait to see how he fits as a perfect puzzle piece to your family. Big hugs you guys.

@@transformxruby Awe, that would be something! I'm really hoping he makes it closer to his due date though. It's so hard on the parents and baby when the NICU is a factor. This is so crazy! I’m currently 25 weeks pregnant with my second child and having the same kind of pelvic pain that you’ve described in your videos and now with your midwife saying you have a sensitive cervix, I was told the same thing in the beginning of my pregnancy! So I was having very light spotting which worried me during the early weeks of this pregnancy and they said I had a raw and sensitive cervix and that it basically looks like a skinned knee. I asked how I could help it and basically was told it can heal over time and also some women deal with it throughout their whole pregnancy. So this was super confusing to me as well and I wanted to make it better! I’ve done research and my light spotting stopped, thank God, before the end of my first trimester so that was a relief. If you find anything else out about dealing with a sensitive cervix please do sure!❤️ praying the rest of this pregnancy goes well for us both!

with my second i went to the ER at around 25 weeks, i was in so much pain, could barely stand. midvives told me at that time babies often have a growth spurt which is a lot of pressure for the body to adjust?

I had Braxton Hicks start from 30 weeks, very similiar for 5 hours a night. I could never tell the difference. They did the job though half an hour labour and fully dilated from the night before. (24 hours) at 40 weeks . The only difference for real labour for me was waters trickled and they progressed quickly. Trust in your baby and body and slow down and rest . Do nothing if you need to . Your body and baby know what they are doing 💖 perhaps it's your body simply saying to slow down. Tune into yourself and baby and quieten out all of the noise. You intuitively know !
@89misspigy

That was my first thought too, her body’s way of telling her to slow down. That’s honestly how I would view it if I was in her position.

I had BH really bad with my first. I’m talking morning and night every 2-4 min. I was diagnosed with irritable uterus and sent on my way. I ended up giving birth at 34 weeks. I’m on my second pregnancy now at 31 weeks and I’ve done a few things differently. My BH started around 18 weeks again and this time I’m taking them seriously. I started taking extra vitamin C, magnesium glycinate, I drink a gallon of water a day, and I also made magnesium oil to spray on my belly in the morning and before bed. I also am taking it wayyyy easier because the NICU is no fun and I desperately want to make it full term. I’ve noticed a huge difference this time around. With my first I just ignored the BH and went about life as normal. Good luck!
@HeatherLovesFeathers
@HeatherLovesFeathers 2 года назад
With my 3rd they started around 20 weeks and kept getting stronger and more often. The last couple of weeks of my pregnancy they would wake me up in the middle of the night. I brought it up at every appointment and was told to just rest, drink more water, and watch what I was eating because my uterus was extra sensitive and might be reacting to what I was eating. I went past my due date with my previous 2, with my second I went over a week past. I knew it wasn’t normal for me and I ended up giving birth at 37 weeks, I’m glad I didn’t go earlier.

I went through insane Braxton Hicks contractions for the last 6-8 weeks of my 3rd pregnancy. And like you, he dropped so low that it felt like he and my belly were between my legs. The larger I got, the less movement I had and the more uncomfortable it became. But baby was fine. I’m wondering if the drop of the baby going down towards the pelvic area is what causes those Braxton Hicks. But the main thing I learned from that experience is to just listen to your body. If something feels uncomfortable don’t do it. No matter how much you wanna work out or go for long walks Etc. If it’s not comfortable, don’t do it. It’s most important for you and baby boy to be safe and comfortable. You look absolutely amazing by the way. And you’re doing so great with Fox. You’re a rock star mama.

My second pregnancy was so different than my first. I will say my second has a heart defect and I went into labor early. I would say towards the end I could tell something was different than the first I had more fluid she was moving like get me out of here. Also, I noticed because I was naturally more stressed thinking about her health because of the defect and also trying to care for a toddler it put a lot of strain on my body. I would get Braxton hicks soo much which turned into the real deal pretty fast after that. Hope all is well i will be praying for you and your family and I hope you will feel open to sharing his diagnosis. I know it’s hard to process and I can’t imagine doing it with so much attention and critics but the moment I told people it was almost a relief and was able to find people like my daughter that are thriving.

When I was pregnant with my son, he dropped early like that too and sat on my cervix for MONTHS. My cervix "raw and sensitive" hahaha for months after. Like, it felt bruised, I suppose? I had groin pain for the longest time 😩 I also appeared much bigger with him and as a result ended up with diastasis recti, which I know you are familiar with. I dealt with a lot of the stuff you're dealing with, but like a dumdum I never took it up with my doctor and wish I had the way you are... Never second guess yourself or talk yourself down for a thought thinking it's in your head, apart of pregnancy, or you don't want to make a fuss. I probably could have saved myself so much pain and discomfort and issues if I hadn't let my head get in the way. You handled this so well!!

I had gnarly Braxton Hicks contractions regularly throughout both of my pregnancies, starting super early, and both of my boys went past their due date. I had irritable uterus with my second pregnancy, had to spend 2 nights in hosi for monitoring at 23 weeks. I had a positive fetal fibronectin which put me at high risk for early delivery, I was already high risk from my previous pregnancy. I was told to take Panadol if I felt the pains, wait an hour and if it didn’t go away by then to go to hospital. It was a really hard pregnancy with constant BH and horrific SI joint pain, plus a toddler 🙃 best of luck sez!

With my only pregnancy they measured me 2/4 weeks early the whole time and i was constantly told i looked “small” . It can fluctuate with how much water u drink (even though they say it wont) and i ended up going in labor at 37 weeks 4 days. My sister has had all of hers at 37 weeks (6 kids) and she always looks “small” It depends so much on the person, my point is, go with your gut sis!! If you think you’re going to go early be kind to your body so you dont go TOO early

Your second pregnancy feels like my first. I gained 30kg! Usually a size 6-8 my entire life. She was super super active every single time they would try and get her heart beat they would have to do it multiple times because she’d always be moving. My belly was massive! When she was born 2 months ago she was a sleepy new born for maybe 2 weeks and since then has been soo active and strong and aware. Everyone that holds her says so as well.

At 36 weeks I got these horrible pains in my right side that would come and go every 2 minutes it was so weird and I would throw up everytime they would come and my stomach was tight I went to hospital in tears I just couldn't cope, the doctors didn't know what was going on bubs was fine and they eventually went away within 24 hrs, well I went into Labor at 40 weeks and 1 day my obstetrician did not like how high my blood pressure had gotten and it wouldn't go down so 8cm dilated I found out I had pre eclampsia, there were no signs my whole pregnancy it's honestly crazy how things can workout I'm so grateful to my midwife and obstetrician for being on top of it though they are just amazing people xx

This happened with my first. I went into late preterm labour at 36 weeks. I was never dilated on my own. I just had a spontaneous burst of waters. Had I known what I know now - which is don’t drink too much water (drink coconut water aka something with electrolytes because it makes those contractions stop versus water which only adds to the dehydration). My son is now a healthy and happy 4 year old, but I do often think about if I could go back and just tell myself that. I feel like I could have avoided a lot of struggle. Hope you and baby are well 🤍 will keep you in my prayers.

Have them do a quick swab, a raw and sensitive cervix could be an indicator of bacterial vaginosis. Super common in pregnancy. Its a shift in your normal flora. It requires a vaginal suppository for 5 to 7 days. If not treated it can cause preterm labor. I used to work in obstetrics. Super common !!! Quick fix, once swabbed! Not to worry, but will help your pain. Unfortunately with summer, warmth, extra baby weight (normal weight carrying a baby) thats what I mean!! Normal belly growth, sweating, everything can get out of wack fown yonder. Again SOOOO common!!

I was pregnant with my first son when you were pregnant with fox and he was born in March too! March 30th! And I’m now 33 weeks pregnant with my second boy! Love sharing my journey with you as well! couldn’t think of anyone better! Wishing you a healthy and safe pregnancy and very merry Christmas to your family Sarah❤️💙

I’m currently 38+3 weeks with my 2nd son and I’ve been having the same contractions since 20-something weeks thinking I would have baby early cause he measured a week ahead at 22 weeks but my cervix hasn’t responded yet so no effacement or dilation yet. I’ve read that you and your body are more aware the 2nd time around. It’s been an uncomfortable pregnancy for me and it seems for you more also. I pray and believe you’ll make it to my point in pregnancy with healthy baby and healthy you!

Definitely get a Pap smear at your six week check up … I had abnormal cells on mine at my six week postpartum check up …. However, two years later they are gone now :)

I’m pregnant exactly the same as you to the day with my second baby, and I had this exact same experience the other day! My midwife has said I have an “irritable uterus” which sounds like it’s similar to your situation! Hope you’re feeling better now ❤️

I had the exact same as you with my 2nd but mine started at 30weeks. They ended up saying it was what they called an irritated uterus. I pretty much just had to be watch whàt I did and avoid heavy lifting and baby girl decided to stay inside cooking till 40week :) Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!

I have what my doctor called an irritable uterus. I started having contractions at 17 weeks. Everyday from then on until I gave birth. At 27 weeks I had to go to the hospital and get several shots to stop the contractions. I’ve had this issue with my second pregnancy and now with my third 😩 I feel your pain, you don’t even know! But I made it to 39 weeks with both pregnancies!

One of my friends baby was born at 29 weeks she’s now a happy cheeky little 18 month old. Glad you got checked out cause you never know. Hope we get a baby name video or something like that list of names she loves, even though they already know his name.

Thank you for being so honest! It's so nice to see some real people on social media, not pretending that life is perfect. Although your beach footage definitely looked like one of those "perfect" moments, I like that you gave us the reality behind that picture perfect footage. It just feels comforting knowing that every mother goes through moments like this with their toddler.

My twins were born at 29 weeks, I knew way too early when they dropped, I said to my dr. I think they dropped and she replied nooo it’s way too early for that. When you mentioned your cervix is long and closed… that’s really good to hear! My cervix became very short very fast! With your cervix being long and if you do happen to go into early labour you will probably make it well in to your far 30+ weeks. You will be just great! Relax for real though… I look back wishing I chilled out more. ❤️

I went into the hospital at 30 weeks with the same thing. They ended up saying it was an irritable uterus & would continue to cramp until I gave birth which was at 38 weeks. Also my second pregnancy xx

I don’t know if you’ll see this but I had the same thing starting around 25 weeks. The way my midwife explained a sensitive cervix is that babies head touching it just automatically sent my body into contraction mode was the easiest way she explained it 😂
