Did some early spring walleye fishing during March below a Lock and Dam. Weather was cloudy with a high of 43 F. Water temperature was around 44 F.

I love winter and ice fishing but we never had one in PA this year. Just this in between garbage. I've been out grinding the moving water and spillways too and it gets real stale after a while. Great walleyes in this vid and great to see you releasing this time of year - especially that big spawner!

If you like bass assassin try the lil boss in my secret color hammer time. It’s a walleye slayer on a 3/16-3/8oz jig head. I have the best luck slow dragging and drifting it back into holes with the current seam. Pump and dump a lil boss and a new pb will come soon.

Thanks! I don’t like to publicly state locations on these videos in most cases but I can tell you that any of the dams on the 3 river system of Pittsburgh have a lot of walleye, especially spring and fall. Just try the ones closest to you. Typically on the side opposite of the lock
