Meanwhile, I drafted CMC, Hall, Mostert, Kamara, Josh Allen, MAndrews, Ayiuk, Sutton and picked up Moss and Njoku at the right time - yet lost by 4 in the final when the air went out of the tires on the home stretch. I'm over it. Sorta.

@@prestonlarson6926 too many people listening to conventional "wisdom" of the mainstream analysts and not always accounting for outliers. Mostert is old, an RB, oft injured, and still one of the fastest dudes to tote the rock in an offense that you have to account for 3 other dudes, each of whom is one of the fastests dudes to tote the rock in an offence... He might get de-emphasized a bit this year if Achane stays healthy, but he's still worthy of drafting in later rounds and is a steal in any round after 5. I had him on every single team I drafted included best ball.

Was that Al Borland (sp?) Packers cheer motion a callback to Little Rascals' Alfalfa? Not sure if he's that old (but I am, sadly) but there's a tiny scene in one of the episodes where Alfalfa is introduced and does the two clasped fists "champion" motion, which Al did when you mentioned Love's passing TD ranking. Anyway, I've only seen that episode once, and when I was probably 8-10 years old (it was in syndication by then, so I'm not THAT THAT old) and I've been doing that same motion ever since.

I have the opportunity to keep Jayden Reed for $1 this year and Jordan Love for $1 in our keeper league… tempted to move on from my Lamar/Mandrews/Flowers stack. I’m beyond high on Jayden Reed rn, but feels like his utilization on the field is just as volatile as Flowers.

Totally agree with Andy on drake london. Sure, he could do very well. But with all the other weapons on that team there is no guarantee he is going to be the work horse in the passing game. If he isn’t in sync with cousins he isn’t going to finish top 10. Look at stefon diggs or Hollywood brown last year - it isn’t guaranteed that a good wide receiver is going to get the ball as much as you’d expect. Everyone is so high on London this year I’m almost definitely going to pass. Is drake London better than Calvin Ridley or George Pickens? Everyone has the same story with some of these WR’s when they get put in a good offense like it’s magically going to put them in the top 10. Wilson vs. London is an interesting debate but I take Wilson all day because he’s so much more proven. I mean A Rod already meshed with him last year and he’s already performed really well, even if it’s under expectation fantasy wise.

I've got Watson and I'm not "done with him" yet. But I've also got Jameson Williams, Gabe the Babe, Claypoo, Terence Marshall, Mingo, and Skyy Moore and I'm not done with any of them yet either. But not by choice. Especially in Skyy's case.

I wouldn't say he was super suspect but he did have some pretty questionable weeks mixed in with his promising ones early on, almost like a rookie would have done. But imo his yrs of experience from waiting behinds Rodgers really shined through with how he found his footing through the back half of the season in such a big way. Went from looking like a rookie QB to a seasoned vet almost overnight. What he showed was more than enough to put most concerns to rest over anything from his first few games

@@-alostsoul-6902 Yeah he ended up settling in but wont get to play Chargers, Lions, Giants, Bucs, Panthers when he needs to get right next season. Had a monster year, I'm interested for sure not sure I'm convinced hes a sure thing to elevate all these guys on the offense. We've also seen guys like Baker, RG3, etc. peak in their first year starting. Idk, maybe Im just playing too scared!

I took Cooper Kupp ninth overall. Drafted early because one of my league mates forgot that his honeymoon interfered with our original draft date. 12 person league, got Kupp, Derrick Henry, Ridley, Amari Cooper, Breece in order. Then took Waller, then Aiyuk. Championship game I bench Derrick Henry, acquired Davante Adams via trade who went off, Breece covered Davante's previous nightmare in the Semi's. Championship lineup Fields Jaylen Warren Breece Aiyuk Kupp Isaiah Likely Ty Chandler Davante Browns D 178 points. I got the last spot in the playoffs because Derrick Henry scored the additional TD on MNF to beat the Dolphins.

idk if it's fair to say Tua is less talented to Dak. They are definitely in the same tier IMO. Tua has more upside as he has been improving every year he's played in the NFL, but Dak is safer since he's been through a lot and been a consistent producer for what like 10 years now or something.

You can't bring up McDaniels and scheme for tyreek and not use the same logic with Kevin oconnell for JJ. Oconnell will force the ball and scheme JJ open no matter what, just as he has already shown, and him coming from McVey and what they did with kupp. And to be honest darnold could easily fill the stat sheet and hyper target JJ while still sucking

"Tyreek has the least talented of the top 3." "Tyreek is the counterpoint to getting worse when you leave a great QB. He actually got better without Mahomes." Well shit y'all, at what point do you just admit that Tua is a really good QB? Is that against the law? Can a sports pundit not just say, unequivocally that "Tua is a very good QB"? Will you get thrown in pundit jail? People act like Tua is some undrafted bum who went to a division 2 school and is lucky to be in the league and is carried by Tyreek. Dude went to the best college program in the country, had the most efficient college career ever, was drafted top 5, held his own from day 1 even with a coach who was literally trying to replace him instead of help him develop, and then turned in two top 5 efficiency seasons once he got a coach and talent that weren't trying to undermine him. Any other QB has this resume and he's...well he's Justin Herbert. Tua does it and well he's a bad quarter shy of being a bum.
