Here is a link to the UE MERCH store. Tons of designs, tons of colors. Hoodies and shirts. Time to profit off this bullshit. upper-echelon.preview.teespring.com/
Id hate to see you look bad after saying youll make $1000 but who would ever buy this? Especially since the shitting on earth 2 trend will go away hopefully soon.
And that is the banking system. If you do that you're a criminal if a bank do that it ok(intrest rate are a similar story as many others). Banks are not builded using economics rule but mostly on many special laws and rights that ensure them a HUGE edge and economyc egemony.
The best part about Earth 2 is that this amazing cutting edge game isn't even on par with Second Life. And that has been outdated for years. Hell, the best example of why Earth 2 is impossible really is GTAV. That game came from a multibillion dollar company and even after all these years it still has issues. And yet this shit-ball studio comes out of no where, who are utterly dependent on crowdfunding to the point of adding small text that they can seize assets and funds at will, can pull it off? GTAV is a small chunk of a state while Earth 2 is the earth itself. These assholes are making Todd Howard look more grounded and sane with each announcement they make.
@@buca117 Pretty much, yea. Lure them into a situation where they can figure out the first hook in their mouths. This way you aren't brickwalled by cognitive dissonance.
You acxtually messed up the quote. It should be "convince" instead of "show", because showing someone theyve been fooled is actually very easy, convincing them however is very hard.
I'm so sick of that buggy/ jeep video. Knowing it was made with asset packs (both gravity and the jeep) and they didn't program it themselves makes it even worse.
Wanna bet they don't have the rights to use the obvious branded images of a Jeep Wrangler or the BFGoodrich KO2 All Terrain T/A Tires the model is sitting on? It would be a real shame if someone were to inform Stelantis and BFGoodrich Tire & Rubber Co about the violations of their intellectual property rights by these clowns.
All made in Unity from asset packs. Even the code isn’t original…..They got that with asset packs too. Nothing about this thing is original or created by the Earth 2 “developers.”
@@RafitoOoO The thing is people are not getting any money out of it, they get a balance they can use to buy more, but no one has actually been able to withdraw from the game.
@@zachburskey8868 o I am sure they are able to cash out, slowly. After all denying a withdrawal request point blank is tantamount to asking for a lawsuit and the subsequent mass withdrawal. Note that UE didn't say that no payment is going through, but it takes a long time and you have to jump through hoops
@@JokerPoker5RP Yeah man...Especially playerbase of Earth! But paying 65k for literally nothing is stupid. But yeah, i’m just still having faith in humanity! 🙂 Hoping that people are not this stupid, but sadly it looks as...
More than likely the buyer had other tiles that were sold off and the money was built up in a "bank" that couldnt be withdrawn from. They had nothing else to use it on and couldnt get the actual money so instead they just re-invested(ha) in the scam. My guess atleast.
Seriously,...this is meant to be a joke and nothing to actually spend money on. Especially when you're financially in a tough spot. Even considering buying merch is braindead. Might as well buy tiles on earth2 😖
Selling land on virtual planets was done by Star Citizen first, as was selling ships with features that didn't exist (remember the news van?) If there's one thing I've learned is that the idiots who get into this shit will never accept they got scammed but will insist it will all come true at some undefined point in the future.
Star Citizen will probably end up releasing something that is scaled down but still a decent game (albeit far past any reasonable deadline) simply because there’s too much money invested already and if they don’t release something (even if it’s just an improved Freelancer) there’s going to be legal and political fallout.
@@Thor-Orion i watched a live stream of a unreal dev last year show a whole solar system and how to navigate it and land on a earth sized textured planet....i can see its a very cool trick , but that was single player and not even close to the type a multiplayer they are thinking of one other aspect JUST for people is using the LOD system for players and people and animals they have a plugin there that can do you up to 100,000 players technically as long as they dont get 200-1000 very close, as in right in front of you, for cinematics it makes it possible to do HUGE battles etc.
at least star citizen constantly shows new stuff proving they are working there problem is duke nukem forever syndrome where they keep wanting to improve the game but in doing so enter a endless loop of new idea of improvement creating improvment adding improvement new idea for improvement and repeat but elyria is just like this of that i can agree
4:02 I don't imagine that they have the rights to use a branded image of a Jeep Wrangler or the rights to use digital reproduction images of BFGoodrich KO2 All Terrain Tires. It would be a real shame if someone were to report their obvious glaring violations of copyright law to Stelantis and BFGoodrich just to see what happens when people with actual money and huge teams of lawyers drag them into court and tie them up for the next 15 years with paperwork.
@@Razkrk That's not the way trademark law works. If they're using the Jeep or BFGoodrich trademarks in their game or media without permission from their respective companies, they can get a C&D or be sued, regardless of whether it was original or purchased off turbosquid, etc.
@@CoryMcCarvilleSchueths Based on its appearance I'd be more than willing to bet that the particular model they used was probably ripped off from a mod for one of the Spintires games which means it was already unlicensed and unofficial, so chances are that they ripped off someone else's work on top of stealing images they had no legal right to use in an official capacity. It's just too detailed and well made to be a generic "vehicle" asset someone paid $5 for on unity.
I imagine they will just delete them once the scam runs its course. Even if they pull out now, I imagine the people behind this have already fleeced a million dollars or more.
You absolute MAD LAD. You living Legend. The sheer AUDACITY of releasing merch about this whole mess for personal profit is such a brilliant move. Show these clowns how to do ethical business! Good on ya'!
Not necessarily. What these guys are professional at is probably best described as "spreading the word". That word being a lie or a truth is of no concern to them.
@@Caribeancrysis So not a liar but amoral following your argumentation..... how is that an improvement? And how is spreading false claims not a lie? It's like giving someone a false alibi for a burglary......you might not have done it yourself, but you're still an accessory.
@@LupusAries in their defence, their job is to promote, its not like they know what they are asked to promote is possible or if the earth2 guys are planning a scam; but i agree that marketing is 90% overpromise
@@LupusAries Well, let's say I called a taxi to travel somewhere with my bag. I behaved well, payed the price and maybe even left some tip for the driver. Then I am on my way and the taxi driver is on his way. Taxi driver has done their job and it's an absolutely acceptable act regardless of what I had in my bag with me. It could be a bunch of books, it could be heap of my cash, it could be heap of stolen cash, it could be someone's head that I severed myself. As long as there's no police ordering said driver to stop, his job does not become more or less moral depending on the passenger. If every taxi driver demanded a full inspection of everything you have on you before you're allowed in their car, nobody would be using taxi.
It's so hilarious that these devs do fuck knows what for months and Callum Upton just assembled a team and within a couple of weeks they have done more than E2 or Dreamworld devs

i swear to god, whoever the hell you are, please keep doing what you're doing as no one else will ever do so. You got me with the "profiting from shirts" part.
Could you have a look at the very recent situation happening with Nexus Website, where the site owners basically and unilaterally decided to strip mod authors from their work, thereby breaking pretty much every international law protecting intellectual property, on top of many others laws, especially European laws in regards to ToS? As for now, it seems that several people will seek for legal recourse and sue the website over this, and several companies who own the IP's whose consumers are making content of are also being contacted as of now, as this whole endeavor could also cause them bad PR. Also, after locking the main thread down, without having engaged with anyone nor adressed the issue, with the only comment from the staff being to one mod author who they artificially propelled front in center of the issue, in an attempt to "prove" that popular content creator are all for the initiative, in order to gaslight and pretend that the contestation is only coming from a vocal minority; the problem in this is that this content creator is also a known fake activist and massive hypocrite, who on one hand, was taking public stances against content stealing, while on the other hand, selling herself and her content to a corporate entity whose entire endevaor had been met with massive rejection from their community; and this same content creator is today advocating for Nexus to steal intellectual property from content creators. She has also been quoted by several outlets who wrote a blatantly biased article about the situation, which led me and others to heavily suspect that this particular content creator is actively involved in the entire project and is and has been an actual part of the Nexus team for a while, without being officialy acknowledged so she can serve as a shill for them and everything they work on. There has been a new message from the team today, who is full of non-answers, and of course, doesn't adress in any way the legitimate worries made by the community, and the summary of the message is basically "we do whatever we want, shut up and obey". The link to the website: www.nexusmods.com/news/14538 I really hope you will look into it, the more it gets traction, the more people are made aware of the situation, the better it is; contrary to what the shills and the entitled users of the website would want everyone to believe, this is not a tamper tantrum from the content creators, but a legitimate battle to preserve their intellectual property, which is protected by laws and international treaties, and if the website owners keep doubling down, they will be hit with numerous lawsuits coming from all over the world.
Dude what an absolute shame. That website has been a great help to me, and their Vortex integration is clean. But now they're doing this?? Yes, please bring more attention to it! Disgraceful..
This is the fight of our generation; intellectual property and individual identity rights. With the growing amount of user created content there will be an increasing number of large corporations that attempt to steal that content to make themselves money at the expense of the creators. This cannot be allowed to happen or the market will crash (I.e. creators will stop sharing their work).
I'm not really educated on the situation, but after reading the article you linked, I wonder what exactly the issue is? To me it just sounds like a convenient way to bundle mods together. This "collections" thing seems to just automate downloads according to a list of mods. Isn't that what mod guides have done for years, just in a more streamlined format? I don't want to incite an argument, just trying to understand why this is such an issue.
... wait ... 🤣 That's literally what they did. To be fair by now there is a game to be played with those ships now, but it's the exact same premise that's kept me off SC that is plainly on display here in E2 again.
Chris Roberts was a legendary game designer responsible for one of the most successful original space sim franchises. By comparison, E2 devs have a practically nonexistent resume. Hardly an apt comparison.
@@CoryMcCarvilleSchueths Both are scamming people with impossible promises and terrible excuses with diehard dreamers defending them from even the most generous criticism.
Releasing resource boosters before the resources? And hiring a PR firm rather than people whith the technical skill to actually help? Its a big frakkin' money grab and that's it!
They probably never thought of this because the game can’t even come close but imagine a game with 1to1 scale and it had neighborhoods were robbers could go in and map out houses scary to think of
Well pretty much only Google could even theoretically collect the 3D data required to do that. No game anything like this will ever do it, they'll just procedurally generate houses (perhaps with constraints based on satellite data) rather than trying to properly match the real world.
Randy is shooting a video in a small apartment in front of his fridge, but wants to convince people he has sound investment advice. Yeah o.k, not even the devs seem like people I would trust to invest in.
I wasn't going to go there but one would think, if you're that savvy and an adept investor, you'd have a better location to record than a backdrop of your fridge. *shrug*
@@AlysianahNoire Neither was I because poisoning the well is a logical fallacy. For example, Diogenes is considered a prolific philosopher while being vulgar and living in filth-- whereas other philosophers at the time tought classes in amphetheaters. His lifestyle did not change the wisdom he had to share. Many smart investors also live rather modest lives. However you could tell Chavez's arguments were awful without any context.
I almost want to spend like 30$ to buy thousands of tiles in the pacific or Siberia and convince someone that there are tons of ore and oil and sell out
This reminds me of Helmet’s song Crashing Cars: “There’s a sucker boooorrn Every other minute, Lord!! He deserves you mooooorre,, You know I’d only crash this car”
I just love how they didn't even add resources yet, they added a tiny ass booster for your resources, and that's IF you don't count that there's still no damn game to play
The people that buy tiles on Earth2 know that it’s a scam, they just think they’ll be smarter and be able to make their money and go away before anybody else... and they’re in for a goddamn rude awakening...
My sister had a boyfriend who turned up at our house, beside himself with excitement because he was getting a Triumph Spitfire. On further investigation, his friend had given him the chassis for a triumph spitfire - a long piece of metal. All he had to do was attach the other bits, the body, the engine, the doors, the wheels, the windows, etc. I have no idea why this just popped into my mind.
the only thing that can do the entire world in a game is Cesium for Unreal i believe, but i believe that’s not very good quality. there’s no way they can do this
Ooooh Tshirts actually became a thing They look pretty damn good Up to 2 xl oh right... im fat *shrug* might aswell get one UPDATE: Aparrently its a fair bit larger than regular 2xl so i can fit it (a bit tight but fit) Anyway super comfy and looks great
Randy actually says in a comment in his last video he has friends that are mad at him because they can’t invest as the tiles have got too expensive, he fails to see the bubble is already at bursting point, how will E2 deal with this? They could artificially mark down the price of all the tiles, new player will come in old player lose money until the raise the prices again
I remember arya saying the investment is profitable because "do you know how many crypto millions excist". So even he thinks the end goal is offloading useless assets on to others
@Keith Smith LoLz, what? Are you okay? You sure you know where you are? Cause this is the internet, and there ain't no lanes cupcake, just you, me and the rest of the uncensored world with an internet connection who don't give a flying frag about who you "meant" that for. Your grammar sucks worse than a vampire so either get used to getting criticism for it regardless of who you "meant" it for or improve it, which isn't that hard pumpkin. 😃 So smile! The internet is watching!
When you said that they had missed many deadlines, I was struck by a vision of one of those band tour tee shirts, with cities and dates of the concert there on the back. If you really wanted to rub it in, and at the same make it easier for your customers to piss on Earth 2 also, make a Deluxe Shirt with the logo in the front, and on the back, dates of deadlines missed, just like a concert tour shirt. You're welcome.
Hell yeah send some of the cash this way ya boi struggling out here😂🤘🏻love ur vids always gives me a good chuckle to see this “game” slowing digging its own grave😜

I’m just WAITING for the inevitable story to break stating that Earth 2, it’s site, the money, the squares, the videos, the social medias, the ads… every concievable digital footprint of the obvious scam becomes *“uh oh! Looks like the webpage you’re looking for doesn’t exist anymore. Oops 🤷🏾♂️”*
That is from the earth 2 website "preview" which was created using a game engine that earth 2 doesnt own (unity asset packs) as "proof" of concept. Not from another game.
Another comparison about them selling the Jewels. "It's like star citizen selling ships for people to fly in when space flight isn't even in the game yet"
What fascinates me: There's only 7 billion people on earth. Of which only a fraction is able to purchase these tiles, and of those only a fraction is gullible enough tho fall for this shit. You would think that the scammers of the world would have burned enough trust and money at this point that they'd run out of people to scam someday.
As well as "jewels" I also heard they bragged about "blueprints" for buildings which could be sold on a market place. You know, like flatpack furniture on the grand exchange in Runescape from almost 2 decades ago, clearly this is cutting edge design we have never seen before!
Northern Rock: ex-bank in england during the financial crisis, People heard the banks could collapse so everyone lined up to get their money and their life savings out, As they did it made the bank less stable. It would probably have gone under anyway but atleast this way some people "got out" with something while those staying in were left with nothing. Difference being E2's terms literally say they can just walk off with every dime you put in at their discretion. Not even a subbed, only found you 2 days ago (through Fry) and caught up, I don't normally like normal youtuber merch with someones name written on it... but those shirts actually look f****** cool!
Scams only work due to ego, it’s actually very basic psychology. Some ppl cannot admit they’ve been taken, to do so would be admitting they aren’t as smart as they think cracking their ego. Because of this, by the time a victim accepts that they’ve been taken, the scam is long finished.
