General Tips for this mission:
One of the hardest missions so far in the game. You really are not equipped to deal with the red ants and there are very many of them here. A rocker/missile launcher is a good idea here.
Deal with the first wave from far away, then fall back on the beach and then I suggest you move to the furthest side of the beach where whe fencers are. Kill that side of the wave and then move on to the rest. Air strikes do help with the other side and you don't want to interfere with that. The group there also works really well there, while the fencers do need a lot of help.
A bit luck-based mission, but not really impossible. Don't worry if you struggle a bit, this one is imo a very steep climp in difficulty from the previous missions.

I have already played EDF5 a couple of years ago and I had a lot of fun. This playthrough is on Hard difficulty as a Ranger. I made a new character to pick up everything from the start and to keep mysels as underequipped and underarmored as possible only picking up what I find in the mission.
I am not known for my skills in shooting games, so this may help you if you struggle with any mission. In all likelihood, you will find the strategy I used sufficient as I very rarely win on skill alone.
Generally speaking, you wanna move constantly, which avoids most of the attacks from almost any enemy. There are those that require a bit more attention, but even against those you wanna move basically all the time, except your movements should be a lot more strategic.
