Earth was my first ever concert-going experience, and what an experience it was: Bristol, 2016, at the end of their Primitive and Deadly tour. Will be seeing Sunn O))) for the very first time in October, and then Earth again in November. This Autumn is going to kick ass!
@@davelanciani-dimaensionx they did a split LP together named "angel coma". Also sunn started out as a earth cover band. So they definitely influence eachother.
Fucking LOLed at 7:32 The guy is just high as hell from the riffs and god knows what "NEW ALBUM IS DOPE AS FUCK!" then you can audibly hear the girls roll their eyes "yeah 😩dOpE aS FuCK br00😬"
Foolish me. I missed them in the 2019 tour What was i thinking, i wasnt. Ugh And then 2020 rolled around and everything halted. Thanks for this upload.
@@ragnathebloodedge8299 I guess you just don't like drone metal. It's like the complete opposite of whatever genre Polyphia is. For me, I can't stand Polyphia. Their music sounds like ringtones.
The color of poison is a really cool song... Adding a true bass tone would have really rounded out their sound.. Why no bass?? Still a good collection of tunes no doubt
I was in a band in the 90s that was this set-up cept with vocals...the structure is very similar. 1 guitar lays down a...pattern, sometimes they both are in the same place, at first&the other fellow (Mark Moore. rip)would rip all over the top. It came out to sound like...white light/w.h. era velvets, raw power time stooges, early joy division(prob.just music tho), rapeman&well...this! Smooshed together. Pretty much (except vox)the same band that used to be catpower(when chan was still in atl.).
I really like earth, but that tour was awful! I saw them in Leeds and it was embarrassing! The drumming is awful! More interesting was Helen money supporting them!
