We know what you're thinking: how are you supposed to run in sandals? Well apparently you can...and should. But what about the arch support and cushioning? What Earth Runners claim to do is retrain your feet. This is minimalist footwear that trains your feet to be...well, healthy feet. They bring us back to our beginnings.
They are said to strengthen your feet and counter the problems we currently have with our feet including bunions. They also have copper that comes in contact with the ground and runs through the laces. This enables us to ground (reconnect with the earth) and absorb negative ions from the earth. This is healing for our bodies and helps to counter inflammation, blood flow, sleep and speeds recovery. Positive ions are absorbed by the body from TV, Wifi, cell phones, pollution, etc. High concentrations of positive ions are bad for you and cause illness.
