Earth Tremor Hits Southern Joburg Areas 

2.5 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Soweto and Surrounding Areas
Residents in the southern parts of Johannesburg, including Roodepoort and Soweto, experienced a 2.5 magnitude earthquake on Tuesday evening. The Council for Geoscience confirmed that the tremor's epicenter was located west of Soweto. Fortunately, no injuries or damages were reported. The Johannesburg Emergency Medical Services assured the public that there were no immediate risks. This marks another in a series of tremors in the region, following similar seismic events earlier this year.
