Thanks, Creature Features! The late 1950s is my fav era of sci-fi flicks, and “Earth vs. the Flying Saucers” is at the top of its genre. Fun Fact: the voices of the aliens in this movie were recorded by an uncredited voice actor named Paul Frees (he was also the voice of John Lennon and George Harrison in the Beatles cartoon series that aired in the mid ‘60s.) The speed control on the tape player was turned up and down real fast by hand while the tape was playing back to give the audio a wavering effect.

@@usa3rdworldcountry yes, but that was nothing for his Hollywood machinist father who built the ball and socket armatures of his creatures. I had what may gave been a very rare priviledge during his life: he let me repeatedly and carefully pose the skeleton that was used in both 7th voyage if Sinbad and Jason and the Argonauts and after 40 years it was astonishing: the joints (exposed, hard rubber skeleton) were whisper light to the touch, moved like melted butter and yet were strong enough to support the weight of the figures. It was like a tactile magic show. Ray even said publicaly that he was never able to match his father's skill after his father passed away. The saucers would have been nothing for his dad. But his dad did not have his sons absolute genius in cinematic artistry. I wrote in Films In Review that Ray was the 20th century Leonardo DaVinci. I dare anyone to claim with evidence that anyone else deserves that title more than Ray.

I forget exactly how but you do something like forward the movie to the end, then start it again.Maybe one of the viewers can explain it correctly. You can also hit the button on the right side of the screen to get past the commerical. I wonder if they were talking about Aberdeen Proving Grounds Better know as APG. It about two hours North of Washington. And still in operation today. I should know as I live just outside the back gate, and have to deal with the base bastards on my way to work each day. They drive about as good as the guys in this movie.
