A lesser-known Beatles cover everyone should check out is by an R&B group, Lakeside. Their version of "I Want to Hold Your Hand" is not what you'd expect.

Great analysis, (6:24) however no need for a Sax solo, when they had the trumpets bounce in and out. Guitar 🎸 solo gives it balance, since it opens with a guitar riff.

Listen to the following albums " I AM , SPIRIT, ALL N ALL, GRATITUDE( some songs here done live), RAISE, and THAT"S THE WAY OF THE WORLD ", to name a few ! MOST tracks are very good, and some great !

The Beatles album Sgt. Pepper was made into movie. EWF Bee Fees Peter Frampton were featured with covers. You have to compare to Beatles version.

What you don't know is the Beatles' record company released Got To Get You Into My Life as a single in 1976 to coincide with the release of the Beatles new album, containing songs previously released, called Rock'n'roll Music. The Beatles' version hit the top 10 six years after the band broke up and Earth, Wind & Fire covered it two years later. You should check it out!

Beatles were highly influenced by American R & B music. And they along with EWF on the Mt. Rushmore of GOAT bands of all-time! You have to listen the Bealtles version to really appreciate EWF's original cover to it. This cover came from the Greatest Hits vol1 album.

Helen Reddy just died. It would be great to see you do a handful of reactions to her songs. Really nice voice, and kind of like an Australian Karen Carpenter. She had some major songs in the 70s, which included the anthem ‘I Am Woman’. Some real beautiful ones for you to review would be that as well as ‘You and Me Against the World”, ‘Ain’t no Way to Treat a Lady’ ‘Somewhere in the Night’ as well as the creepy song about a troubled girl “Angie Baby”

Your hilarious youngin you want more non soul/ funk EWF but they what they did put a lot of soul funk on this Beatle cover....lol. I never heard anyone ever in my life say give me non soul/r&b EWF music weird. EWF Fuse a lot of genre's in the their music from disco rock jazz r&b soul country whatever. There no such thing is non soul R/B with EWF do you know they actually started doing jazz music before they crossover doing pop R/B mainstream. They have plenty instrumental songs for decades they touch all races nobody was picky about their music especially if touches your SOUL.

Why are you comparing it to the original? Ridiculous. This is a fresh, R&B, soul, funk version of the highest caliber. Top shelf musicianship, sophistication, production and arrangement. It won a grammy that year!!! While the movie bombed. It is probably one of the top all time re-makes of a Beatlle or any song!!
