OMG, I love Vern! I’m a rock/blues guy, a white boy in his sixties now, but this man is a “f’n” great bass player! And I love this bass! I’m a guitarist (primarily) but I have an American Standard J bass (Olympic white with a tortoise guard!) a Gretsch short scale solid body bass (Jr Jet?) that’s of indeterminate age, and I’m waiting on a Squier Paranormal series bass where an early 50’s P bass is mashed up with a J! So cool! Transparent white over a two piece ash body! Squier is a company that bats way over its head with many of thier guitar series, but as good as they are at making guitars, their basses are “f’n” fannnn-tastic! This is a new golden age of guitar manufacturing, and getting a high quality instrument that will last decades is possible with as little as $500! (but I’d take that Shadowsky, if I had my druthers!) Peace out, guitar cats!

i remember watching a show and wondering how he kicks forward, jumps around, and it doesn't affect his playing. Great showman.
