God kept those who listen to him safe and fine. Carefully sprinkle around the foundation of your house diatomaceous earth (basically crushed shells that Crawley bugs get cut by). Sprinkle DE around the plants you are trying to protect. It's important that the ring of DE does not have any gaps for pests to sneak through. If pests are eating the leaves of your plants, you can dust the leaves with DE, which should discourage further damage. Wash your plants before eating them and don’t breathe in DE while sprinkling

Also the larva do suck plants. The adults focus on trees, but they don’t seem to harm the trees. This is disgusting but for those fearing a food shortage. 😂 There are all sorts of creative ways to incorporate cicadas into a meal. They work on their own-some say best air-fried-or as additions to dishes like curry and pasta.

There are many signs but as far as I can see the cicada is pretty much harmless and is not a sign mentioned in scripture. It's not a locust and it does not destroy crops.

It isn't normal, but it is a regular occurrence. It happens every time the 17-year and 13-year life cycles of cicadas lines up.

I saw loads of Cicadas just last spring. I was surprised to see them. As a kid I would catch them because I like their colors and their pretty wings. I always immediately released them. I would also collect those shedded husks, still do. I think they're interesting.

Locus (Cicada) are every 7 years, have been since they began! This is nothing new. There are a number of species of them, each has their own separate 7 yr cycle.

I shared the gospel with someone today that was perishing if she died today in her rejection of Jesus. She said she was “awakened” years ago, but the eclipse made her extremely sick for days. I said the sign of the eclipse is that there is now a true awakening coming and that the fact that Jesus is the only way and we can not save ourselves by being good. Pray for her. She said she would try reading the Bible with an open heart and mind. One of the problem is that Christians have pushed people away from what they know is real and even mocked what they know as fake, she knows the spiritual realm is real, but the problem is she only knows it from the daemonic lying to her and not realizing she’s been used and lied to by them. Not every spirit that speaks as the Holy Spirit. I also told her to read Deuteronomy 18. Even some Christians need to humbly read that.

In many ways, eclipses have always had a historical bad vibe to them. This is largely from the superstition that came from the religions of the world not having the science available to understand why it happens, what they think is that the gods are angry. Pretty much all religions to some degree have a distaste of eclipses. There are some religions that have a slightly more positive outlook or don't try to avoid them (or have special prayers for them) like Islam. Honestly, the fact they appear as perplexing makes it reasonably understandable the superstitions arose. There's not really many simple words to describe the appearance.

I had this dream 2weeks before the eclipse. In the dream, the moon was half-covered and bright. Then, suddenly, from the top of the moon, something red enveloped it. It was like deep crimson color like blood. After being fully covered, the moon changed and it burned like fire, similar to the sun. After that, the scene changed, and I saw myself and all people on earth looking up at the sky, we were listening to a voice talking to us from the sky. The sky was like a colossal screen, showing disasters and wars that would occur on Earth. The voice was warning us about what will happen on earth. Upon waking up, I said to myself that we are entering in an era of what we heard.

I experienced Locust in Illinois when I was a little kid. Grandma said every 17 years they came out of the ground. I got a good laugh at them flying at my mom in her hair.

Cicadas aren't a sign of the end times. Cicadas are not a disaster at all. They are amazing and harmless. Make no mistake, the end of the age is coming, but not because of cicada life cycles.
