My Motorola Smartphone (Moto g6) would still function. In fact, I am using it at this moment (Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 9:53 am Central Standard Time (USA)). 💘💗💖❣️💟💝💞💓💕❤️🧡💛💚💙💜😍
@@foreveruknown4899 wait what that's a thing? I can't do it on my phone then. But I guess it wouldn't work since the internet would probably be down if the cellular network is.
Is anyone else legitimately scared of the EAS tones. One time I woke up to the EAS tone for a tornado warning at 4 am and I literally threw my radio out of my room. Went to pick it up and my mom screams "GET THE FUCK DOENSTAIRS"
"This is an Emergency Action Termination. A bunch of big mushroom clouds blew up some stuff, but those of us who are still alive are OK. Stay tuned for The Big Bang Fact."
By the Way, you generally want to state that the Issuer of the Alert would be Primary Entry Point, and the Alert would be a Emergency Action Notification. But It's still a good scenario, and maybe you'll give some of mine a watch! It's a small channel, but I'm trying to make a new channel in the form of Shelter345-esque scenarios! Love you dude!
It is just a parody (kind of) or a simulation. It never really states a certain time of when this would be happening so I guess it doesn't really matter but I can see what you mean, hackers in 2008 seems a bit off.
Actually, St. Louis is split down the middle by the Mississippi River. West StL (the metropolitan area with the arch) is in MO, while the poor community of StL is on the East. This has been a PSA for all Louies.

You never really think anything can happen in an EAS scenario. It's really surprising when it explains a lot of stuff, like the SCP ones, or the Rising Heat one, (My favorite.) and much, much more! Some explain gory, detailed deaths and the fall of Earth or a lot of lives, and some are so unexplained, in the end, it makes you wonder, "What just happened?". For instance, the Do Not Look Up scenario, it leaves a lot of questions unanswered, likes what happens if you look up and if you die from the entities in your room. You did do a good job though.
is a major telephone outage something they can actully issue a warning about in irl? plus i love how it goes from a phone outage warning to a civil danger warning. it makes sense with context but its still funny to me.
Me: *intervenes in the eas alert that interrupted Tom's eas alert that was sent before* Also me (to the other guy): Hey. Let tom finish what he was saying.
Hey! Just a couple of tips. Your emergency notification repeats happen for way too long. I found myself skipping ahead to the next part a lot. I’d use a (__ minutes later) more often to denote time passing instead of letting it play out. I’m not sure what you’re typing in the script, but it sounded like you had some run-on sentences. This can lead the voices to have awkward phrasing when they’re talking (ie, weird upwards inflections, pauses.) The general rule for fallout shelters is enough supplies to last 2 weeks. This is because after 14 days, the radioactive particles have neutralized to a non-lethal level. I didn’t believe it at first, but it’s true lol. 4 weeks would be a tad too much. Otherwise, this is great! I loved it :)
As much as this EAS Scenario is indeed of a somewhat classic, there is indeed a LOT that it leaves to be desired. I'm considering wanting to do a remake of this, to be completely honest.
I’m imagining in my head that all this phone mess was a mole inside this Group 626 trying to warn somebody, anybody at all, about the impending attack 😁 could actually be good the phones were malfunctioning
