Emergency Alert System (EAS) scenario about SCP-871 that can take the form of any cake. That is, any cake. There were 237 contained instances of SCP-871 at the time of the outbreak. Now, there are only 236 instances contained. It is unknown who or what is responsible for this breach. The SCP Foundation is in need of your assistance. It is vital to the survival of the human population that you follow the instructions provided in this broadcast.

Not really its weird how the scp foundation couldn't recontain all of the cake also if a person doesn't clean up scraps it will still duplicate. Also they made it so people couldn't eat the cake at the beginning for recontainment... once you get past a number its basically impossible to keep all cake ate.Edit: Within 4 days 16 cakes will be made which can be spread apart to have easier spreading. Within 8 days 256 cakes already more than the current holding of foundation 871 held cakes.Within 11 days 2048 cakes which would become a huge problem after that.

The cakes break the laws of conservation of mass and therefore would not only destroy earth but will eventually collapse into a black hole once certain mass is reached. The black hole would countine to expand doubling every 24 hours until the entire universe and beyond is swallowed.
