this is my first try at an eas scenario, i hope you like it :)
also, please excuse any typing errors or glitches in the audio. hey, i guess the glitches add a little something to the video right?
In a universe where Britain lies along the edge of a tectonic plate, a devastating earthquake strikes the island, causing many fatalities and injuries. How did the BBC handle the situation.

Is the music used in the video is from inside no 9 when they did a "live" show and the broadcast gone wrong? If so thats a nice touch, your the best eas channel i ever saw Good job!

Oh I used PowerPoint. it sounds stupid, but you can actually do a bunch of stuff with it with some know-how.

@@cataclysmic_eas And intra-plate earthquakes can happen. Look up 1884 Colchester earthquake, and 1931 Dogger Bank earthquake. However, you are very much otherwise correct.

It did, a 6.1 hit the UK in 1931, it's incredibly rare but it does happen.

@@cataclysmic_eas Not only that but the UK gets about 20-30 minor earthquakes a year, most arent even noticeable but on occasion one is strong enough for a certain region to feel it. An earthquake happened in South Wales this year and I was slightly out of range.

@@cataclysmic_eas my comment keeps getting deleted so i will post it here: hey! this is a very good first video! though i do have some notes: 1. The text would be a lot bigger, actually. i can read it myself but some others may have a harder time reading it - the BBC (especially in a situation like this) would make the text atleast "big enough" so it could be easily read from the screen. 2. for text to speech, you should use elevenlabs! they have hundreds of options of realistic tts voices, including ones with british accents! i think you should try it for a video. Great video otherwise! Keep it up!

I think its great but here is smth you should improve (im not being rude) First up, the annoucer is a little bit messy u should get probably someone that could do well but if u cant get a better AI voice to make it more realistic 2. Collaborate with people that are incredible like @MocksEAS or @DeltateamEAS And finally u could make more creative eas that could be great Hope this helps and its a good eas

Thanks for the ideas! I will take them into account. I think I'm a bit to small of a channel to Collab with Mocks or Delta Team. I'll need to grow a bit more.
