The most terrifying part of any EAS scenario is when they basically tell you that you are going to die, and to isolate yourself to protect other people.
This scared the heck out of me because I'm not only in bed with nausea from anxiety, but my power went out while watching. Talk about scary coincidence
One of the scariest things you can do with a monster is keep their details hidden. The things the human brain can come up with are far scarier than the object itself. But this is quite scary. If you heard this on the radio after leaving the doctor's office from a case of nausea, you'd clear your bowels in a heartbeat.
Its good because its light on details. It gives you a vague description of "long contorted limbs, no eyes and elongated face", just enough to recognize it while also leaving plenty to the imagination.
The thing is, the description of the entity and the distance yourself from others sounds a lot like SCP 096. Otherwise, pretty creative, and surprisingly good for a first shot at analog horror!
I think it sounds like another SCP but I don't recall its name or designation number, but it stalks people and I think makes them feel sick just like this
This is pretty creepy, especially when you watch it at night and this gives you anxiety and because of the anxiety you feel unwell, that's when you start feeling uneasy and then you are scared even more.
The scariest part IMO is at the end when they tell you to isolate yourself to buy others time. They're basically saying that there is nothing you can do to save yourself, so please don't take others with you by seeking help.
At first i was convinced cause I have been feeling uneasy for some days now, and then I read the description, good job, I was actually scared for a second!
When I get paranoid as I am approaching sleepiness, I get even more so because my brain thinks somethings there and mistakes shadows for things, making me more paranoid keeping me awake but the sleepiness makes it worse in that kinda loop. I get to break out of it by putting the focus on something else for a long time which is hard because im sleepy or just collapse and sleep from exhaustion. And the seeing things out of shadows gets worse because as night approaches my eyes start to easily dry up making things more blurry.
Omg I love how it genuinely sounds like the whole city is doing its best in a unified panic and then at the end they basically just go: "Oh yeah, and if you see the entity, you're screwed, goodbye."
Man, as a guy who's had a history with fearing the dark and living in a country that constantly has power outages, I should definitely be watching this before going to sleep
Human, as a male who's had a history with people fearing the dark and also coincidentally exploring in a country that constantly has power outages, you should definitely NOT watch this before going to sleep or else you'll be more alert and can easily wake up :)
Brother, that last bit of video was terrifying. The monotone voice telling you impending doom is coming for you and you can't do anything about it. The best thing to do is to isolate yourself from other people and just wait for your certain death... Leaving rest of the details to human imagination.. while it may not seem scary when you are watching a video think about it.. You are sitting on the chair in your attic.. alone away from your loved ones as you feel the goosebumps overwhelming you.. knowing damn well what is going to happen to you, just not when. Masterpiece
Nice one buddy! I really like how you depicted the creature, it made me feel really uneasy seeing something that was so close to being just another one of those generic "human" characters you'd see in a bathroom sign, but with enlogated torso and arms. Reminds me of the good old Slenderman tale from back in the 2010s. I'm looking forward to seeing more of these come out of your channel!
I saw an old fan made video for K.Flays song ‘High enough’,when she sings the line “do you see anyone other than me?” It flashed an outline figure onscreen that looked just like this, the long long arms, trippy video for a trippy song an this brought me right back to it
I love this!!!! The last bit about giving others time to get away and it seeming to specifically target certain people reminds me a bit of that one Shy Guy SCP. Great job!! I hope to see more content like this from you in the future :)
@@drippylad3973 096 doesn't really jump you It kinda just makes a beeline for you and then tear you apart lol Honestly, the descriptions of 096 make it seem more like a Godzilla type monster rather than some "scary entity"
Giving a sub, hope to see more like this. Some critiques tho are some of the imagery looks like its above the vhs effect, and there are a few points where it breaks from being clinical and unemotional and sounds like someone just talking. Changing words like "about" to "approximately". And "a generally similar point of view" could be removed or changed to something closer to "it is reported that" or "the (general) understanding of officials at this point it that" etc. Great job on this tho!
This was very nice, one of the few scenarios that actually got me thinking, kind of like a "sommeliér" i just though "Nice, creative, to the point, and with a lot of potential for lore"
for a first analog horror you made. i can tell this is really amazing Really captures the spooky vibe. and the end where it said to isolate your self to buy the others some time to escape is really Good and sad since your sacrificing your self to help the others. i can say you did amazing!
This is pretty cool, and I have some (hopefully helpful) feedback: I think it would make a bit more sense in this instance for the EAS to be a bright white (or eggshell color, for the sake of youtube eyes) instead of a base black color. That or some sort of symbols in each of the corners to help light up the room a bit, especially during the pure black transitions. I can just imagine someone chilling in the basement watching sorts or NatGeo while this is happening, and if this is the only light in the room, they'd definitely be at risk for a boogeyman attack from the darkness of the EAS itself. Also it would be cool to see a bit more detail or more strategies in dealing with these entities. Does the type of light matter? For example, is the blue light from screens more or less effective than the orange light from candles? Or maybe location matters? Naturally, within the 12-hour timeline of this EAS, limiting the amount of information about these sorts of details makes the EAS more believable (as I imagine most information would come from an explosion in police calls). But I do think that adding mostly unverified/anecdotal information could make this EAS a lot more immersive and thought-provoking. My hometown has a lot of tornados, so these EAS scenarios always hit pretty deep with me. The one thing I've always found the most interesting about EAS scenarios is thinking about what *I* would do or how I would react in those scenarios. I hope this helps!
same thing that @ifyoucreditmeyousmell said but put more story like an rising action like the channel ''alert world''' overwise, this is a very good introduction :) overall its a 10/10
The thing I love most about this EAS is its realism. It lets you know that they have little knowledge on it, it's dangerous, and it happened recently. That's all they know and so if the entity does manage to get to you there's no knowledge you have that could help you at that point.
@@Arid909 it seams like a pretty good idea, and if you’re gonna do that,i’d recommend scps, they are pretty creepy for ppl who don’t know them and easy to use in storys like this one
Mr Tinkles gets a little mischievous at times, we apologize for that. Other than that he’s pretty chill, he even helps out in homeless soup kitchens and funds millions to charities.
Yo this video really scared me when I first saw it it gave me the chills of how you have to keep your lights on but one question what if you run out of power oh and this part really scared me 0:17
This is very good horror :) I also want to share that as a person from Switzerland it gives me flashbacks to something. So when my grandma was a child WW2 happened. Even if Switzerland is neutral there was a safety protocol if someone attacked. So she told me that if the safety protocol was playing they would have locked the doors, turned the lights off and wait inside a closet or something. Then she told me that IF they would have found you, you would have to keep the secrets of the country and try to buy time. While that( thankfully ) never happened, it was still scary for her(which is completely understandable)
