I built the first one. It works great just like whatever I used in the past. Idk what changed since then, its been a while. For those new to fish farms on console. I play on Xbox. There is no true afk farm. There isnt any auto clicker software like on pc. I also named a fish and put it in the water because I was inside. It worked either way but I thought my catch rate would improve. It didn't change. It is very slow at first but you will get a perfect enchanted pole eventually. Don't forget to combine poles for more enchantments
If you're talking about the second one, this one is afk because the rod is being spammed. The only reason fish are caught is because the bobber is staying in the water regardless. It still takes time for the fish to be caught, which is why it isn't every throw.
Just thought everyone should know I tested this in mobile with 800 mili tap time and there are a few blank pulls, but not to worry! I've tested it for long durations and even including 2 or 3 blanks between each catch it works perfectly fine and is totally AFK'able on mobile given that you provide accessibility permission to that auto tapper application. Thank you for this! It works perfectly in Bedrock 1.20, I also made my water area 5x5x3 and I get good amount of enchanted Items. I covered the area to fish so I can avoid MOBs at night. 🥰100% catch and now I can avoid the fish in the water (I was so annoyed every time my bobber would attach to a random fish swimming lol).

I built the 2nd fish farm but when the fish takes the bait the rod doesn't catch it the bober goes down the trap door goes down and it dosent reel the fish in
UPDATE: works in Bedrock. Using Auto clicker with a hot-key is a MUST. Also, having the cross hairs placed just right is needed to keep the lure in the right place. Finally, placing down a trap door to walk up to the water can be helpful (and a bit persnickety)...
It hasn’t given anything but fish and junk but is good if you’re making it next to another farm and you have something else to do just check on it every now and then
For those who ask if it works for Bedrock, I did the second farm and it works perfectly in 1.21 (August, 2024). Just be sure doing the steps as shown. Tysm for the farms.
@@SpoilerOG If you're having trouble connecting the hopper to the chest, place a block there first and connect the hopper to that, then remove the block and put the chest in its place. If you are unable to put the banner on the chest without opening it, try crouching. It took me several tries in creative mode to get it right, but once I understood it, I went back to my survival world and made one.
@@issaoutrage7562 Yep. You can get "Treasure" items, such as enchanted books, saddles, nametags, etc. Though it helps to have a fishing rod enchanted with Luck of the Sea III, which can also be obtained through fishing.
@@issaoutrage7562 Yes, you can get enchanted books this way. I've gotten several, including ones with mending (seems very rare though). You should use a Luck of the Sea III fishing rod to maximize your chances of getting treasure. Good news is, you have a small chance to fish up a Luck of The Sea II or III rod from doing this too.
So whats up with the wiki stating it has to be a 5x5x3 water source thats unobstructed with any light blocking blocks dont chest block light? Does adding a fish help with loot drops, whats the average time to catch with lure 3, 15 seconds? Is the world actually flat or is it a giant cube with all the mobs spawning and falling off of the other 5 sides and a giant black hole in the middle? Im so confused
Hey mate, for the first question about the 5x3x5 water source area, that’s for Java edition, this video is showing bedrock. as far as I understand you can still use this version on Java, however you won’t get anything aside from fish which means no books, bows, rods…
sadly, you can‘t… on console it‘s impossible but on pc you can access your worlds in the explorer and copy the folder onto your desktop (or any folder on your pc) and then when you reinstalled it you can put them back
Was your random tick speed turned up, can’t help but notice that the dirt at 0:34 turned into grass rlly fast, my fishing rates are rlly slow in comparison
can u make an update on the second build for 1.21 bedrock? ive built this farm many times previously thanks to you but trying it now, my rod doesnt even fish, it just sinks down to the hopper and the bobber rises once the fish has let go
@@xoxerxesox9305 So I fixed this by deleting minecraft and reinstalling. Please save world on a drive because if you don't do this you will loose your world. Trust me.
The way I did it to make sure I was close enough was break the block into the ground next to you and walk against that wall as far as you can and jump straight to the side back to the block you need to stand on
I followed every step, but it’s just not working. It doesn't take away the rods durability, but when iy comes back, I never catch anything. Anyone having the same problem?
If you are on bedrock the fish have a 500ms response time to catch vs Java which is 1500ms. So what’s happening is when your click goes off if the fish bites within the first 299ms it will “swim away” before your next click occurs.
@@whatiwonder4299 misinformation all over the internet, how about you time the "average" to catch a fish without lure 1-3 on your rod and tell me how many milliseconds are in a second...both these farms auto catch the fish the macro is just to recast what are you talking about??? you want to set the macro to recast about every 10-15000ms on the first one with lure 3 and on the second you can set it to 5000ms and forget it because that is the lowest average catch time with lure 3...you are talking about the window in which you have to catch them which is irrelevant to these fish farms because they auto catch.
Just tried to make this but got stuck on the step of attaching the banner to the upper chest, but in my game (PS5 Bedrock) I can't attach the banner, and the chest just opens. Is there a way around this?
Not once you get a good rod which will eventually drop. I get soooo many enchantment book I have 4 chest full. Also got my enchanted bow this way too. Tons of name tags and saddles LOL
@@tylerlepage8619 Bedrock. I just started a Java game to try out some mods and my AFK fish farm has yet to catch any enchanted items. Just fish, and leather items. Starting to get annoyed.
1 thing you can try is to break the chest and see if anything is in the hopper. If stuff is in the hopper and not the chest then they weren't connected
@@nasimshaikh9922 my farm got messed up. Make sure the hopper minecart is under the lava. Should be the same block as the sign. Then a block behind it. Somehow my cart got pushed out from under the lava
