Huh, I didn't realize till now that Sally's fight was her putting on an actual little play? I mean, I knew it was on stage and she was acting all exaggerated for that reason, but like, I didn't think about the actual scenes she was doing. She gets married, then she goes and has a baby, then you kill her and the fight becomes a celestial one in the clouds, and when you kill her celestial form she's just an angel in the background because she's supposed to be dead. That's kind of neat.
Coolest part of that is in the secret ending, you could choose to kill her husband phase one and instead of babies in phase 2 its nuns. Theyre also much harder to dodge
Jello 14 I asked the exact same thing. One of the easiest bosses of the game: spends an entire episode trying to beat him. One of the hardest bosses in the game: beats him effortlessly.
I was just about to comment this. I found it ironic how Mark breezes through bosses considered by players to be hard such as Rumor Honeybottoms and Dr. Kahl’s Robot. And yet he struggled with Werner Werman, the boss considered to be easy by most players.
Dr Kahl got nerfed now the robot part is half of the battle instead of none of it and a ton of his jewel things are pink now making super easily chargeable
Wow...mark is actually pretty damn good at this game, considering how many RU-vidrs I've watched play this game mark is actually the best player out of them, GOOD JOB MARK :)
Is it just me or like he managed to shrug off Dr. Khals Robot yet struggled more with Werner Werman and Sally Stageplay. Hes good at defeating hard bosses I guess.
"He seems like a perfectly noble scientist..." who looks like Dr. Wily and built a 4-storey-tall robot full of bombs and lasers. Yup. Seems "perfectly noble" to me.
I really enjoy how throughout this playthrough Mark keeps forgetting the premise; that he gambled away his soul to the Devil and is trying to collect other people's souls to trade for his own. "Why's this guy got it out for me??"
Oh! They finally fixed that progress marker for Phase 1 of Dr. Kahl's Robot. I kinda preferred the other way, because I loved seeing the disbelief and frustration from RU-vid gamers when they played it for the first time and got nowhere.
So you're tellin' me that Markiplier calls Dr. Kahl's Robot the easiest boss in the game...yet spends an entire episode trying to beat Werner Werman?! Is this game entirely backwards for him?!?!?!?!
It really must be backwards for him! I've seen a lot of people call Sally and Wermin easy but break their souls trying to beat the robot. And Mark did the exact opposite! :D
My soul is in pieces seeing how Mark defeated that robot with nearly no sweat, I kinda wished he had a hard time on it. It took me days to beat that robot and luckily got an A rank on it., but I feel so broken after seeing this video. I feel like I am in literal pieces that cannot be fixed.
Does Mark not notice that the boss's names are on the title card for each level before he beats them? Because he only acknowledges their names after he beats them.
It's kinda funny how whenever he gets hit by something dumb instead of it fueling his need to obliterate the enemy, he just acts like he bumped into someone on the street. "Oh sorry, my bad."
I'm very surprised that Mark didn't rage so much playing this game,but then again he played Getting Over It and nothing compares to the rage that you get from that game.
To everyone going "Play Doki Doki Literature Club. Why isn't he playing it? Wah wah wah?" If you used your earholes he said he was prerecording videos for Christmas Break in his Goodbye Buddi video. DDLC was one of the games and he said he was almost finished with it, he just hasn't been posting them yet. Now leave the poor man alone to mourn and learn to use your ears for listening, instead of just decoration.
Everytime im sick I watch Mark play games, and it always makes me happy. It always brings a smile to my face, and for that I am thankful. Thank you for always being there for all of us Mark, have a great day.
Most people I've seen play this are the opposite of Mark. He finds Sally's fight difficult (at least it looks like he took longer to do it) and found the robot to be super easy.
Mark change your homing shot to the horsehoe boomerang shoot. A lot more damage and it basically gets on as many shots as the homing. MUCH more effective.
I’m actually jealous of how quickly he beat Kahl’s robot. One of my personal favorites in the game, but also the one that took me three consecutive days to finally beat (with breaks because if I didn’t take any I would’ve broken my switch in half)
Mark a few easter eggs are hidden. If you go to the turtle at the dock you have to do all gun and runs and get pacifist scores on all of them (meaning no shooting anything. It's all skill) and the turtle will unlock a new mode where the filter changes from color to black and white. For the fork you have to get all grade A ratings and he will unlock a new filter as well.
UnPhayzable Well, some of the bosses are fairly easy, like The Root Pack and Werner Werman. Hecc I beat Cagney Carnation on my first try. But Dr. Kahl's Robot definitely doesn't belong in the same sentence as easy.
Mark, you should play DDLC it's a nice visual novel dating sim, im not really into these kinda games but i really enjoyed it! (plus its free, so that's nice)
I like how everyone gets PTSD from Dr.Kahl, but he’s pretty easy for me. Just dodge (maybe lose 1 heart, bonus with heart charm) and for the head going across the screen, right before he blasts towards you, do your super. it skips the phase, but if that doesn’t work, just bomb em. And for the last one, spam EX’s and just get good. (I learned some of this from JustoAllDay (I think that’s his name))
