Yes mark there is a way to kill no enemy’s in the run and gun, that’s all you have to do, your reward is a classic black and white filter. (Like so mark can see!!)
1 year late, but mark is playing this all in ONE go, only taking a few breaks in between each episode. He sometimes says something about it, he makes multiple videos at once, then uses them a day or two at a time to give him a break :)
Ethan Leslie that’s one of the biggest issues I have with his channel. Compared to most big youtubers, he really doesn’t listen to his audience that much.

everyone always acts like the enemies are the evil ones, like you aren't trying to collect their souls for the devil. if someone came up to me and said they needed my soul for the devil, i might get a bit deffensive too.
Honestly, no one's the "good guy". Cuphead and Mugman are only being the Devil's Debt Collectors to save themselves from their own mess that they made by making a deal with the Devil. Meanwhile, none of the bosses want to lose their souls after they also made a deal with the Devil. The only time Cuphead does something good is at the very end if you choose to fight the Devil. Up until then, *everyone* is only trying to save themselves.

if you beat the run n guns (I think there are 6 of them) without firing a shot in it and still getting to the end, you can unlock black and white color mode! that's what the turtle was talking about
@@AndroidHarris yeah I am in the middle of my first playthrough and cala was so easy I went for perfect straight away, and got it in like 15 minutes. Love the boss though, one of my favourites.
Honestly the creators of this game are really creative. All these character ideas I think are really cool! Like, having a cup for a head? This is all so creative which is what I love
the asian mermaid was worse they were vicious man eaters. but what set em apart was that their flesh was a horrible poison ..... or the key to immortality/eternal youth. you see consuming the flesh of a mermaid (Ningyo) could grant eternal life .... but rarely out of every 100 people who consumed mermaid flesh. 90% died they were luck compared to the next 9% who turned into horrible ravenous bulge eyed Fish like humanoid monsters the remaining 1% got their immortally but discover they cannot age and mortal wounds are now trivial (....save for beheading or complete immolation )
Yes. You can beat this game without firing a shot. There's a separate rank in the game known as a "Pacifist" rank. It would be a grade "P" for not firing a single shot. I don't recommend that you do it like that as it's the most difficult way to play the game. (Like so that mark can see this. He was wondering about it, so he must know.)
I know this is super late but i gotta give praise to the art, especially with the mermaid lady; using an octopus as hair and having it actually look cute was so clever! I love creative details like that
2 things I noticed about the train level: 1. the fish from inkwell isle one said that to get rid of ghosts you have to parry them (no use shooting someone that isn’t real) so why is eyeball ghost an exception? 2. When the skeleton conductor slams his hands on the tracks, the train is moving and he has his hands planted on the rails, yet they aren’t moving
Hearing and seeing that Knockout Banner come up is so satisfying!! And it gives you just enough time to cheer for yourself as you watch the boss slowly fade off screen!
