Yield: 40 donuts
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Calories per serving: 70.91 kcal/donut
Ingredients:
500 g flour
2 egg yolks
350 ml milk
2 packets vanilla sugar
1 pinch salt
lemon zest
1 tablespoon sugar
10 g dry yeast / 30 g fresh
10 g vanilla powdered sugar
oil for frying
Preparation:
Mix the yeast with the tablespoon of sugar and the warm milk.
Set aside for a bit, until it foams.
Then beat well with the egg yolks and 300 g of the flour.
Add the salt, vanilla sugar, lemon zest and the rest of the flour.
Knead until the dough becomes soft and elastic.
Let it rise for at least 30 minutes, until it has doubled in volume.
After it has risen, roll it out on a floured surface, to a thickness of 1 thin finger.
Cut out circles, with a shape or a glass.
Let it rise for 10 minutes.
Heat the oil well and put the donuts in the hot oil, over low heat.
Fry until golden brown on both sides.
Remove on paper towels, shake lightly and sprinkle with vanilla powdered sugar.
Tips:
