Hey everyone, thanks for watching! Please read the points below before you comment. 1. Remember, this is my personal trading plan. It may not suit your lifestyle. We may even have different views of what a valid trade consists of but I am not looking for advice or input, I am simply sharing what works for me in hopes to inspire others. 2. There is no point in asking me what assets I trade or what works best for the strategy. If you watch the video you'll see that this trading style has nothing to do with fundamentals and everything to do with technicals, which means it can be applied to ANY asset. 3. With high time frame trading, I don't pay attention to sessions or news events. I am able to trade 1-3 times per week but I have to monitor a large list of assets in order to do that. My trades have an average duration of 1-5 days. Asking me my win rate is pointless because your win rate will be different. TEST IT FOR YOURSELF!
Seriously 😳 sir, you are providing the best knowledge Thanks for helping me to understand in a very simple way, I am feeling confident and good now because as you said we all do trading for freedom and this is the strategy ,, now I don't have to be in front of the chart all day thanks again god bless you ❣️🙏 33:21
This is brilliant, If you have the daily/weekly bias, 4HR structure and trend, SMC concepts, liquidity and its patterns in conjunction with the fib, this is gold. Appreciate you, Ara. Will be playing and tweaking with this over the holidays! My aim for 2024 is to be less of a slave to the screen and charts, this will do that!
I stopped watching other youtube channels for smc. once i joined your channel its very clear explanation. followinh your strategy about 4 months now. results are back to green. thanks brother for the efforts and content
I’ve been using this strategy for the past week and I absolutely love this strategy and I can’t tell u how grateful I am that u are giving out all this for FREE. Thank u 🙏🏽
Switching to the higher timeframe is the best thing I ever did because it gives u more free time to do something off the charts and I also found myself to be more profitable because I am now trading less.
This is great Ara - I'm already completing some back testing and it's looking good. I think this strategy on the 4H is good for people with a full time job and for anyone that wants to spend more time away from the charts. well done mate - I love it!!
I have been watching other smc videos couldn't understand a thing but when i came across this channel everything changed thanks for the free videos bro.
You make everything so simple. People say SMC is hard to learn but you make it very interesting and simple. I was reading trendline and other retail trading strategies but you made everything so simple. Thanks so much. You are the best.❤
Excellent, I tried this on LTC/USD 5 min chart & worked perfectly. The only change I did was use Fib levels 0.79 & 0.886 instead of 0.71 & 0.79 & both got triggered. The SL is tighter, which I like & the RR is still very good. Thank you 😊
I love the way you deal with trading in the enlightened way of relaxing without having to exact detail like traditional SMC ICT style in super lower time frame entry. Thank you for the cool relaxing way tutorial video
Thank you Ara. I am so satisfied with the way you teach. I am going to try to implement this on lower time frames and see what I could get. I have already tried this on the 4hr and it was spot on. It’s so simple and straight to the point. Thank you once again for sharing.
excellent video. It's refreshing to hear from someone that tried to simply ICT and SMC concepts. I too feel so overwhelmed trying to learn everything and most examples I find are people using such small time frames for their entries and I don't have the ability with my lifestyle to trade like that. I needed something that I could eliminate all the noise and just focus on the higher time frames with entries not too much lower than the 4hr. Can't wait to try this method. Thanks for sharing!!
This strategy changed my result. Thank you for sharing, Ara. I can now take days off charts while my trades run in profit. My win rate so far is above 50%. With more practice, I am sure I can get it up to 60% winrate and that is okay for me.
Hey, I am from Indonesia and I have studied various methods but this is the simplest method, thank you for finding and sharing this method, may happiness always be on your side
Think you nailed it… it’s exhausting to learn to trade, so much noise and over complicated videos. I’ve been trading using the fib retracement and it’s so simple. Great video.
Im moving from day trading ICT concepts on 3 min TF to swing trading on 15m and 4h TF to simplify my trading. This is exactly the strategy ill be implementing. Thank you Ara 😊
This past week I was with a group trading GU with a called limit order. I used this strategy instead, targeting entry .71 & .79. Took patience, but when everyone else was in panic inducing drawdown, I was confident. Precisely went to .79 & I had a satisfying winning trade.
Love you boss, i missed out on this vide, lukily today Sunday, i was on youtube to get something new and i saw the name Ara. God bless you so much. you are an honest man. You dont post a video because you wanted to post, you post because you wanted to touch lifes, your videos are not ordinary.
Had to pause this at 44 seconds in and i can honestly say you have my full undivided attention . Love this so much .. now back to video ..BIg Thumbs up
I was able to find profitability after my focus was on the 4H structure and supply & Demand levels. I wanted to get more precise entries, so I combined it with the 5M Timeframe and I'm able to get 1:5 - 1:6 but most of the times the trade leaves without me for a few pips or worst I get stopped out for less then a pip just to see the price going to my TP after. it works but I do not feel as confident as I would like to, and trying to fix this was getting way to complicated. until I found this video Thanks a lot for it, you saved me a lot of time and money. wish you the Best
Ara, stunning video mate. truely one that addresses pragmatically why we are in this trading game, but with a stratergy that aligns with the values of 'dont be a slave' to the charts. Thank you. Looking forward to seeing more about this change you've made and how you evolve with it over time.
Thank you very much once again for a very detailed video. I have applied your original strategy previously and noticed that my trade gets left behind if I order at the OB. So, I adjusted it to trade at the imbalance so I could get into the trade earlier. It's nice to know that you have adjusted your trading style as well. I agree we each have to adjust whatever strategy we learned to fit our style. I have also been using the fib tool but a little differently from yours in relation to the swing points that I consider. I think the swing points you consider are better and I will have to adjust and forward test this. More power and blessings to you!
guys, try it out yourself. im dead serious, this is by FAR the best htf video. brother im so grateful for your channel. Combine those fib levels with proper market structure and liquidity and thats it. dont overcomplicate it in the ltf s.
Maaaaaattteeeee... That is Aussie for mate. Once again fantastic video here. Love your work. Very happy to have a new BETTER direction now. Cheers, James.
Another great video delivered with honesty no BS thank you, Only one problem I wish you posted more, your content is very relevant and very well explained. Excellent
@@AraKerbabian Hi Ara hope you took this comment as it was conveyed. Because your videos are next level . They are very interesting because you’ve identified the simplicity and ethical honesty with your trading . Also lifestyle and time . Take care
Thank you so much ARA, I completed the whole playlist in a day, and your detailed written notes helped me structure my trade better. hoping to learn more from you.
You finally gave a definition to what has worked for me so far .I’ve been doing this but since I’ve never seen it anywhere else, I just felt stupid. Thanks a lot sir
Thanks dude, really nicely explained, looking forward to back testing this across timeframes and tweaking.. p.s your voice is calming, time to start a trader meditation series :)
even if this doesn't align with others views on trading, this is a really good informative, educational source of seeing how others go about trades and thought process as your doing it, thanks mate, well done
this man is a mad genius, watched his video, saw a setup on the 4 hour and my god, everyth is so clear when swing trading with his strategy, i can see the retracement, the resting liquidity, everything he has mentioned, ive stopped using stupid strats and taking signals after watching this video, made my first trade and caught 90 pips on eurjpy, where else are you gonna get that?
Gracias Ara totalmente agradecido por tus videos y mas aun gracias por hacer que estos videos YT los pueda traducir para las personas que hablamos español. Gracias y saludos desde Perú
I like Short Term Swing Trading too because of the big moves. Not just the lifestyle. It's definitely more simple. And higher time frames are stronger of course. Day trading does make out personalities over trading. And have odd times picking trades. Great video.
This is actually funny, idk how I came across your channel, I don't trade like that anymore but, after I started learning Ict concepts this is the first model or way I came out with, so I was pretty much trading 4H optimal trade entry, didn't optimize this much but it was really simplistic!. Nice work, make want to improve it a bit and try it again, got a couple ideas that I believe could make it better and stronger!. Keep it up! Following closely
its amazing statergy as i won 4 trades of 5 as due to my mistake as i made another bet after winning of previous. THANK YOU FOR HELPING, Iam keep practising now
Hi Ara, really appreciate your video. Could you please explain further on knowing which swing highs and lows to draw the fibs from. I find myself either entering too late, getting into profit but not hitting my TP then going into the opposite direction and hits my SL. Any tips? Thanks
I appreciate your art alot Ara my sir much love my trading journey has improved since I started following you.....please keep on dropping more videos....I WILL BE joining your community very soon.......RESPECT .
thank you so much. over time i have really improved and gained more confidence and knowledge and i must commend you for the great job you doing to inspire we newbies. I look forward to more educational content. God bless you
God bless you Ara, you just gave me hope in my trading journey again, seeing all my mates scalping I get worked out and thinking I’m not good but I just don’t like the noise on the LTs Thanks man ❤. PS: ICT has been bastardised lately by unnecessary fancy names
Not everyone is fit for LTF trading and that's perfectly fine. I used to be a LTF trader and made it work for me but I was too stressed out all the time.
Hello Ara and thanks for the video. I have a question, why you took that move as a liquidity grab? Your line breaks the body of the candles and vice versa after that you took this price movement as a BOS but price broke only the wicks? Thank you for your time.
Thank you for uploading an informative video. Very through and easy to follow along. Question I had was which pair have you noticed this strategy works with? Can you use it on gold?
12:29 Thanks for the free Knowledge. One question fir clarity. I always thought BOS is when price closes below or above wicks. I see in this example price didn't clide below the wicks.. whats the right way to determine BOS?. Price trading below swing level or closing below it?
Ciao Ara, I reviewed the video 3 times just to avoid missing some information. The strategy is super easy and very clear. I have just one question that is about the BoS. Usually, we consider a BoS when the price closes above (during an uptrend) / below (during a downtrend) the previous, respectively, Higher High / Lower Low. What I understood seeing your chart analysis on this video is that maybe we could neglect this approach. Maybe I'm wrong, but I kindly ask you a confirmation about this. Thanks anyway for your support. :)
@@AraKerbabianThanks Ara for your prompt feedback. At minute 11:58 the BoS occurred but all the H4 candles closed above the previous Low. That's the reason of my question.
hey i have a question. at what point does the pending order invalidate, is there a time expiry in your model? is it based on price moving beyond the potential tp? perhaps i missed it.
Hi Ara just wanted to thank you for your content and it’s simplicity. I have one question in regards to data, when coming to the charts weekly how much data should we be looking back on to then begin analysis for the week. I find my issue is not the concept but my range of data I’m focused on is too big and then confusion sets in. So for example do you recommend looking at the previous week, 2 weeks, a few days?
I've been away from trading for a while because I switched jobs and I am away from home during peak trading hours. This looks like it would work for my life style. Time for backtesting. Thanks for the info.
Thanks brother for this, there was a lot of value in this video. I'm 100% sure you've touched a point that most of us are struggling from! I honestly do have a lot of respect for SMC or ICT traders but boy doesn't it suck life out of you! I've tried but failed due to the fact that I cant be glued on to the charts during kill time sessions and when I do no setups show up or if you're lucky to find, you get stopped out right lol. Which kind of messes up with a traders psychology. I've also made up my mind going swing trading as its a breath of fresh air. JOKES: U could actually start acting angry and crazy Trading SMC for a long time like some folks I wont mention here 😄😄😂
Hey I think it’s great and simple. I do seem to come across some much more difficult setups than the one you used. Can you make a video explaining how to execute more difficult setups?
Does anyone know why identifying where liquidity has been purged is important to this strategy? I don’t know if I’m missing something but I don’t see where that played a role in this strategy throughout the video.
