Like the other 2 said....once the plant gets big its going to be very difficult and if your using a trellis to LST then this is definitely the way to go!
@@chemdawg2323new to growing and thought the above comment made so much sense, then I looked at the replies and realized why I’m still taking as much as I can as a new grower.
Unfortunately, when growing in a tent with hanging lights and you have 4ft tall plants, the root ball is massive. If the plants have fruits/flowers and weight to it, swapping buckets is not feasible or recommended. If your plants are using any type of scrog setup or other trellis work, they''ve become a permanent fixture until harvested. Exposing root balls to air/light is also detrimental to the plants.
@@HowlingFarms i had a 4 bucket setup in a 1m x 1m x 2m Box. placed the buckets on a stand for each bucket, build from aluminum profiles. they been about 15cm high and gave me enough room to add a drainage access at the bottom of each bucket. this way i could just wash the residue without removing the plants. In a later run in increased the high of the stands, for more clearance.
