Easiest way to attach line to spinning reel 

Just an overhand knot works for me and its less of a bump

Use a Palomar! Ive been fishing in the Baltic Sea for over 150 years and its never failed yet! Ive been using the same reel and line for over 70 years. Its the only knot you ever need!

It's just a little chunky but works

A drillbit the size of your line quarter inch apart run the line through tie one small knot pull the line through wrapped your line perfectly done minimum to none on the knot build up

I just use a small piece of tape like painters tape or something similar

I just double overhand knot and reel it in. Stop making it more difficult than it has to be.
