They work well. I usually tip my spinner or jig when I’m going down the river late season. Usually crush them every trip if there in the system I’m running. Also had good success when I run out of coon shrimp while plunking or running a Mexican hat on the Columbia River. Tight lines brother 🔥🔥🔥
I like for it to set for a week but two days is perfect. What I like about it is if you add rock salt to the mix it keeps for almost a year. I usually pull from my jar and put them into a ziplock before going out. Whole ones work awesome for plunk fishing or I tip my hooks for float rigs and spinners. I’ve even caught bass with it lol.
It’s fire. Use rock salt instead of coarse and add a red packet of cool aid to the mix. That’s one secret ingredient I didn’t mention. Good luck and tight lines🔥🤘🔥
