you can literally do this in tekken 8 steam version without even doing anything outside the game, you just set another forward input close to your electric button and press them at the same time so yeah
Cool idea but these vids are never useful bc no one wants a special way to input electric that only works for reina & kazuya (bc they have mist steps unlike Jin/DVJ) and only facing right If you’re doing this it’s bc you can’t electric well normally so this is not a solution
@@makexut953no bro, what happens when you want to switch Mishima's? The nice thing about learning the Mishima basics is that you can easily switch between the Mishimas.
@@bignoob2726if he WANTS to he could just bite the bullet and just learn how to do it the normal way. You mfs just bi*** and cry about the silliest things like he has to sit down and work for hours to learn how to EWGF normally💀💀
Man I've played so much with controller no need this tips anymore 😂 I can do 2 electrics in a row no problem it's all about practice the more you do the more your muscle memory does for you
yea but unlike tekken 7 , 2+3 in tekken 8 is also a heat enabler so everytime u miss input u do ur heat move accidently , do u know how to bypass it ? (ps user)
The second method is a bit problematic because the input of f n df+2 only works on Kazuya‘s and Reina‘s electrics, so it won’t work with the other Mishimas and will not work as a dash electric or wavedash electric aswell. It might come in handy for Pewgf though
Because they changed the priority of moves to come out. It gives you command grab when you do the just frame df 2+3, but when you dont do the just frame it gives you a WHF. So stupid choice man. I have been using L1 method since Tekken 5 and now its gone -.-
you’re doing PEWGF that’s why it doesn’t work on jin since only kazuya and reina can do perfect electrics. you have to input the f,d,df normally for jin.
The first way I've been using it for more than 6 months, but I have L1 bound to 2+3 works for kazuya and Reina. It worked for Jin and devil jin in Tekken 7 and Tekken 8 demo but not in the full release for some reason.
With a Keyboard you don't even need to go to Steam, the game itself allows it. Bind a key next to your 2, into Forward Joystick/Back Joystick, and you're golden.
You know if a player is at their stage where they are struggling to input an ewgf, then they're most likely gonna use this and only spam ewgf. In which case, you'll probably clock and just duck when they start spamming. Ws punish
The second one definitely counts as cheating, as you can pretty much guarantee electrics. But the first one I wouldn't necessarily consider cheating, since it still requires input timing.
How is this a cheat, if you still press buttons simultaneously by hand. Inputing electrics on hitbox with f and 2 at the same time must be cheating too then
If you don't want to use LB for 2 all the time, in game you can bind LB to 2+3. It will activate heat without the motion, but with the motion it will default to EWGF, allowing you to use 2 normally on the face buttons, and LB for electrics. I don't get why they kept this, along with korean back dashing. They add special mode to make it stupid easy for newbies, yet keep these high execution frame perfect things on the other end. Does it need to be this hard? Again, I can do it with the bumper fine, I just think its way too tight timing wise compared to everything else. Tekken 8 is great but I can see a lot of leftover dumb legacy ideas they kept in. Should have changed it. Focus should be on decision making and punishes, not practicing an input all day.
@@xTrashBot_You're making it a black/white decision and putting words in my mouth. I never said games shouldn't have that. I'm saying there are limits (frame perfects should never be a thing). The majority of the playerbase can't do it. That's a problem. Its not a solution to have the simple controls option. I don't know what the big deal is making the tolerance for the input a tad wider, so it still takes skill but isn't too overboard. Its a video game after all. Most of the time should be playing actual games not in the lab.
@thepunisherxxx6804 KBD has easier variations that you can do to eventual build up to learn perfect KBD. They even made regular backdash faster that T7. EWGF has a lot of leniency too so long as df+2 is on the same frame. You also overestimate how hard it is to do it. Every Mishima first learns to do "advanced" tech like EWGF and wavedashing before grinding any fundamentals.
@astic13 i own a hitbox and you are an idiot if you think its the same thing. Just because its easier on hitbox doesn't mean its a macro or as easy as a macro.
with respect this is the dumbest vid I've seen in a long time... 1. None of those, I repeat. *NONE* of those were PEWGF's. 2. Your swapping 1 button inputs for different 1 button inputs, which is another way of saying you are doing absolutely nothing different. 3. Your title suggests you have this new macro tech that overcomes the execution required to pull off accurate and consistent PEWGF's on speed dial. The reality is you have not done any of this and can be summarised by saying, changing the '2' input to '1' or any other button, mapped or unmapped which still requires a singular input is somehow broken and should be 'banned' when all this is doing is trivialising an input but changing 2 of the 3 inputs to 2 different inputs. I don't care how you put it, there's still 3 inputs you need to press within three 60ths of a second in order to get a pewgf. Anyone can electric like you did at the end of the vid claiming it's broken, sorry but your just wrong. (on average your electric were 8-10 frame inputs plus the 11 from the last input causing the animation to start) A PEWGF is 13 frames. Your broken method is on average giving you 19-21 frame electrics. Which means your not launch punishing anything with this and because of that your Kazuya is as bad as Steve's with something like a 22f launcher. The title and showcase here would be more fitting to be called ''How to button map within Tekken & Steam'' cos that's all you've shown.
I'm confused. If it starts up in 11 frames and a perfect is 13 frames, is the input 2 frames? How is that possible I'd assume it's 1 frame forward, 1 frame neutral, and a third frame to input d/f + 2making it 14 frames right? Can you break it down for me?
@@caivondavenez3854before I answer your question, make a note of this link or open it to watch after if you're sincere about your question Search RU-vid the following search *KingslayerXV's PEWGF Guide* Personally the best and most detailed breakdown of the technique in the most universal and easy to understand terminology and demonstrations. f = 1st frame n (or d) = 2nd frame df+2 = 3rd frame It depends when you say the animation begins, does it start on or after the last input etc. Regardless how you want to swing it. The one thing that isn't disputed or down to personal takes is that the input is 3frames. Must and can only be 3 frames and can be shown in cmd hist like in most of my vids for example. The easiest way to check is after a df2 on CH they are left standing for exactly '13 frames' so a true PEWGF will launch them, a failed PEWGF will just float them. In more lamens terms if your new - A pewgf will have the same effect a visual as if your opponent held 'f' and walking into you. A failed pewgf will look like a float when it connects. i.e your opponent jamp at you and you hit them mid-air. The distinction being one is considered a Full Launch will scaling as if you got a free hit. The other is a float and as such the scaling is terrible. I'm not sure how else to put it, there's plenty of content and guides by reputable players who actually know what they're talking about (No offence Mikhii) but this guy hasn't got a clue what he's rambling about as mentioned in my previous comment and listed why. Give the KingslayerXV vid a watch. You'll learn far more and actually correct stuff from that breakdown that whatever you want to call this ''NEW METHOD'' vid 🤣🤣
@@caivondavenez3854 hi, I think the frame count is 1 frame forward, 1 frame neutral and then 11 frames for your just frame df+2 starting from the moment you press since it's a just frame making it 13f total
It doesn't work with other godfist characters because Reina and Kazuya enter the crouch dash-like stated by tapping forward *. The other characters require down to be pressed before down-forward to enter crouch dash state. This is important because electric is a stance move, Nd the stance is crouch dash. That's the reason it won't work with Jin and DVJ. Df2+3 has been Jin's 2-break command throw PROBABLY since Tekken 3. So that is not the reason.
@@UltimateBallaPOM when you do electrics with 2+3 it will do a grab even if you input the down first but for some reason only if you do the non electric version it will come out. That was not the case in previous versions you can try binding 2+3 and try doing electrics with jin and devil jin, it will do an electric not a throw try it in the demo or tekken 7
but what's the big difference? i mean you still need to press 2 inputs with different hands simultaniusly. Maybe it is useful for the fast wavu, but electrics? Not so sure.
What screws over most Input for Electrics isn't the frame perfect pressing of two buttons at the same time, it's how having to do a quarter circle forward 'while' hitting it on the 23 input precisely.
I can think trying to move around and play neutral like this can be a nightmare, its not cheating,, this can only be very uncomfortable to play with,, anyways,, this is not going to end well for whoever is using this, ya sure EWGFs easy,, but goodluck winning with this anyways
Seems like a more convoluted way of doing it then just learning it normally imo but whatever works for ppl. You tho just sound like you lose to special style players man
@@scrollingthru45 Special style is meant for these types of people who don't want to learn, that's all I'm saying. If you are gonna do this, then why not just use special style at that point? You're obviously not gonna get better at the game if you rely on things like this.
@@austra8605 Finding a way to do electrics with ease doesn't make you a good player nor does it make you a bad player. Not to mention the game already has automatic electrics when in heat so it's really not that big of a deal so stop being elitist lol
@@scrollingthru45 "Finding a way to do electrics with ease doesn't make you a good player nor does it make you a bad player" you're making it sound like skill but its literally cheating, giving you an edge over other players by not using your actual skill. Its like if I played Counter-strike and said 'Finding a way to get aimbot doesn't make you a good player nor does it make you a bad player' you still have an edge over the other players by using an unfair advantage. Competitive integrity is important. Even the best Mishima players whiff ewgf every now and again and those whiffs are important.
Scummy but i dont really care because good luck getting away with this bullshit at your locals lol. Shit like this will always hapen in online, this is why its best to just play ranked for improvement purposes only and not really care too much about your rank.
It's not cheating it just is Just get some thick skin This is how this stupid crap leads to saying a hit box is cheating Cheating is making a MACRO do ALL the work for you Are you going to call it cheating if I use a module controller? If I put the left analog on the right side of my controller and use my shoulder buttons for 1 2 3 and 4 inputs?
If you ever want to go to a tournament, this is useless. If you want to be an online warrior, it'll work. Idk just seems lazy to me, could be the boomer in me talking.
Ngl, you should take this video down, you are explaining how to make stuff that the game is not intended to do, in other words cheating. If you cant do electrics the way its supposed to be then dont play mishimas... this just makes the people who use it sad cheaters... its a macro and macros are considered cheating. The first way i can accept because you can do it in the game itself, but the second one is straight up cheating and all the people who use it are sad people who will never ammount to anything in life without cheating. Lets see how many mad comments i will get for this 😂😂
How is this easier than doing it on a leverless controller? Leverless is like the best and easiest when it comes to directional inputs. I'm thinking of switching to a leverless from my fight stick because I can't find a Korean lever anywhere and the Japanese one just isn't cutting it. Too slow on the release to neutral.
