EASIEST way to make alcohol QUICKLY!

Don't follow this easy to make recipe or you could accidentally make alcohol and in some places that is illegal. Also, it is really cheap to make alcohol this way. Some call it booze, others hooch, some call it prison wine. Call it whatever you like, its just an easy way to make something different during this corona virus pandemic. If you want to buy yeast, I suggest ordering it from Amazon because yeast has been pretty hard to come by in the grocery stores. There is a link down below for all the different types as well as a link for the water filter I used to turn this delicious "juice" into something just as delicious.

During the American Prohibition a company would sell something called grape juice bricks I believe. There was a “warning” on the box to not mix with sugar and water and leave it in a cupboard for a week or else it would make alcohol and that would be illegal. This video reminded me of that fact.

If you accidently put your juice in beer bottles that had none screw on caps after about 14 days and then accidently spilled a small amount of sugar into each beer bottle before capping the bottle the remaining yeast in the mixture would carbonate the accidental wine and make it sparkling.

do not boil the apple! I boil the cut up bananas with water for about 10 minutes, I turn off heat and add the sugar and apple after about 5 minutes. If it's too hot, it can kill the apple's yeast so do not boil it!

What is your SG before fermentation? After? If you use beer yeast which has a lower tolerance rate, the alcohol will be 8 to 10% and will taste fruitier than say lalvin1116 or lalvin1118? Using Scott towel or a cheesecloth is a better filtering solution. If it tastes too dry just add some juice.

@thechittychef
@thechittychef 3 года назад
Yeah, if you are trying to NOT make alcohol, make sure to NOT put a small hole in the balloon. By NOT putting a hole in the balloon, it will keep inflating more and more until it pops off the bottle and it will hinder the alcohol making process. Overall: small hole in balloon = bad because it will make alcohol which is exactly what I was trying to avoid in this video.

@thechittychef

Alcohol doesn't really go bad from my understanding. If you bought something like grain alcohol which is super high like 90% +, I would recommend not drinking it. It is very dangerous to drink even when mixing it with other things. Plus it tastes terrible. That alcohol is used to make other things. I have another video where I made limoncello using that type of alcohol. Thanks for watching!

@thechittychef
@thechittychef 2 года назад
Thanks for the question, Trent. I looked it up and apparently the cases of botulism that have happened in prison were linked to using potatoes, honey and or food from bulging cans. Why is the balloon necessary and how does it affect the process if you don't have it if you don't mind me asking, this question is for educational purposes cause I have a chemistry class where I need to perform this exact experiment if I am to pass and I'm trying to get some tips from educated individuals who have experience with this specific endeavor
@thechittychef
@thechittychef 2 года назад
The balloon lets CO2 escape and keeps air from getting in and potentially spoiling the mix (I think). From what I was told, air getting in is no good. How no good is it? Not a clue. Some people said that they loosely put the lid on and have no issues. I think whatever you do, just make sure the CO2 can vent so that it doesn't blow haha.
