Yo, Mod Repository Creator here - This is by far the most concise and useful tutorial like this which I have seen! The page with a Copy button idea is great! I'm currently in the process of re-writing the installation documentation on the page itself - and i might link your video. It's the first one which doesn't make some small mistake.

Its weird how they give you the option to install mods but you still have to install mods manually. I wish it was like battle talent where you could open up a menu and get all the mods.

ATTENTION EVERYONE: If you can't edit it all you have to do is hit the three dots on the side of repositories.txt then hit open with, hit text, then instead of hitting allow once or always, look for choose a different application at the bottom and hit whatever the blue thing is. Now it works. (This might be more than you need to do but I know it works so just copy it step by step.
@@josalt I did everything it says, I’m on the latest version of amaze and when I open the mod menu and go to external there’s nothing there however when I go to repositories in the menu it says slz mods
I accidentally installed the nsfw mods and I don't want them so I deleted the text in the file but they won't uninstall, even if I click on the uninstall all button
Nevermind, you just have to go in the repositories folder in the Bonelab folder and delete the message one you don't want and if you don't know which one it is then just open the file and it says the name in it
Is there something similar to achieve the same thing for PCVR? It's a pain always having to manually download and put mods into the mods folder, it would be so much simpler just getting them in-game.
Very similar process actually. You go to C:/Users/[YOURUSERNAME]/AppData/LocalLow/Stress Level Zero/BONELAB/ In there is a repositories.txt file, throw in the same URLs as this guide and you're done!
@@SiLva_SuRfa well i mean, downloading the mods, then having to extract them, then getting to the mods folder just to put it in is harder than just being able to download the mods ingame isnt it?
I think a lot of people knew a lot about the Boneworks game and how it works, which was learned from the Bonelab game. Of course, if they were different engines and without an actual tutorial, it wouldn't have been easy to make a mod and above all without mod support. For example, the official Discord group exists here, to which the invite link was found through the game. I could perhaps consider transferring one Finnish character from Source to the Unity game, so that I could also play with it in Bonelab. :)

hey, i'm the creator of the mod repository - if you open the repository link but remove the /repository.json it takes you to the main page. It'll show the amount of mods in each the SFW and NSFW repos. At the time of writing theres 512 SFW mods and 12 NSFW mods in the repos (and about 100 had some error while adding to the repo - im working on that).
I installed some questionable stuff out of curiosity and now I accidentally get sent to watch motivational videos while I'm trying to play. How do you uninstall mods?
There is no Paste button when I copied it and then I tried to paste it and I clicked it it said copy of whatever and Web search there’s no paste button how do I fix it pls
JESUS it was hard installing a file explorer, on pc the file was RIGHT there but didnt show up when trying to install it, then on phone it wouldn't install it to my quest. But then there was another file explorer wich finally worked.
Question, i did all of the instructions of how to install these mods ( thank you btw❤️) but when I tried to go into a modded map, it won’t load! Is there a problem?

You can only access those files by a computer, because of Google and Android's decisions to start protecting privacy. I would use Sidequest on a computer or laptop for this.
So, I have bonelab on oculus. I have my link cable and does the link cable work? Like is it the same process or do I HAVE to have a file explorer on my oculus or could I do it with the link cable? The reason I ask is because I can't seem to find the repository text thing Edit: Ummm, so I find something called repositories but it doesn't say TXT. Another edit: I think I found out the problem, It sends the saved repository to another file in my app data for some reason even thought Bonelab is on my oculus not my pc. So It's just a matter of changing the file to which it saves. But i don't know how to do that :/
if it gets choppy or buggy is there an easy way to undo this? like delete the mods entirely? say they add a new easy way to mod natively for quest and i don't want this old way anymore. what's the easiest way to get rid of this?
I’ve done literally everything exactly as it was done in the video (just with cx file explorer instead) and it still didn’t work does anyone know y? Pls I’ve been trying for a couple days since I heard you can do it and I’m stumped
if your doing it on laptop, when you try to save the code thing after pasting, it asks you to save somewhere but its not an option to save in the quest 2

Im having a bit of trouble, when you go to unknown sources and click on the amaze file manager, i dont have that and cant find out how to get it. and the built in files on the quest does not work either.
Hey i have an issue. I accidentally left the nsfw line in and then saved it but when i deleted it, the nsfw content remains and i dont know what to do now
I also has this issue.You need to get in the repositories (i dont know If its the right name) not the txt file and delete the two options and then do the same thing he did in the video but delete the nsfw
Hmmmm have you tired opening it and just click on 1 mod then waiting a couple minutes? Dont move around in the menu when waiting stay on same screen as mod your downloading...
I cannot get external mods working on my quest 2. The com.StressLevelZero.BONELAB folder is just not showing up on my pc file explore and ive even tried looking for it on sidequest. Bonelab isnt owned by the admin on the quest too I dont know if that would cause issues. I have just installed cx file explorer and when I run it on the owner of bonelab it now shows the com.StressLevelZero.BONELAB folder but its empty
