if ya really want to play standalone you can emulate a stripped down version of windows on your phone (android only) and run steam there. OR you can put windows on a chromebook with the use of a flash drive and a library computer or a usbc to usb adapter with your phone (android only)@@HippohiFIVE

@Minibattle Lop, 98% of the time im following any tutorial i have some error that only god knows how to fix. I come up on lot of different problems each time, but this, this tutorial was more than perfect! You stated every error that could happen and told us how to avoid doing that, and also the links in the description were very carefully ordered in a way which was very visual. I really liked that you showed us the Net 6.0 becuase no other creator would have showed us this. Thanks

OK I SINCE NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT THIS I HAVE TO SAY SOMETHING. If you don't have a PC at all to run it, you can install tidefusion, which is another networking layer that doesn't require a pc
yeah dude. On a quest 3 like a few other people who have the same issue. Opening bonelab for the first time after the lemon patch just doesnt work. I just get the 3 dots loading over and over and does not take 9 minutes... it's never ending. If there's a fix or solution then a reply would be nice but if not then someone needs to let people know its not compatible with quest 3. I even uninstalled the game, tried it again, restored the game and tried again.
@@puppetmastermod Yes, as far as I know. My only issue rn is my quest is taking forever to install bonelab. I have very very fast wifi, but its taken 12+ hours to get half way through. I think it has smth to do with the Meta/Oculus servers. Should work better if you live in the city.
@@eze_0828 Only if you live far from Oculus servers. I visited my family in the city and it loaded very very fast despite them having extremely slow wifi. Took around 7 min.
i've waited a solid 20 minutes for the game to boot up my headset didnt fall asleep its probable with the new meta update its basically impossible to mod now thanks zuck
for any one on quest 3 (or maybe quest 2 also idk) who is having issues patching bonelab, try moving out the obb folder for bonelab to your downloads folder and patching, then move it back. it work for me and maybe it could help yall.
@@Mychael.Montijo i moved it to my quest downloads, thats just so its not in the obb folder, you could move it to basically whatever folder as long as its not still in the obb folder while patching it.
when i try to start bonelab for the first time it just loads 3 dots i cant do anything else idk if it supposed to do that then i waited for 20 mins and nothing
@ogan4188 Uninstall or delete app data, basically restart your progress. I know it sucks but it happened to me and i was happy that bonelab still worked
@@ninjalogan4188Ik this is late but I ran into this issue and figured out a solution After the latest update with meta, when lemon loader patches your game, it gets rid of important files. What I would do is plug in your quest to your computer, then first go to the obb files of bonelab, and copy the files in obb, then paste them to your desktop. Do the same to the files in com (literally everything except for the folder named obb and com, only copy the files inside that folder) them, once you've patched bonelab, just copy the files from the obb folder back into the obb folder, and the files from the com folder in to the com folder. Yeah, if I’m being honest I was just angry and taking my anger out on this video, it did help me get farther than before, and I got to replay the campaign with fresh eyes, it was pretty fun and now I’ve got most of my mods back and getting more of my progress back too, so it’s really not that bad, maybe I’ll move my mods to a different drive if i try to do this again
When installing Lemon Loader, anyone else get to the screen where it asks you to pick a directory on your Quest but all of them are blocking you from selecting them with the message "can't use this folder. To protect your privacy, choose another folder." ?
Yea I struggled with this too, what you have to do is instead of downloading the lemon loader with apk at the end you have to download the one that says “bypass” at the end and it will work 👍

@@MartDaMarMot Okay, it does but with a workaround. Some people can apparently patch Bonelab just fine, but most from what I've seen will get an error saying Lemon Loader can't write to obb/data
Sombody please help I’m on the quest 3 and have repatched the game twice and have been waiting with the headset on my head for 15 mins and nothing is happening
yo, bonelab has been loading for like 1.5 hours now, ive restarted my headset, repatched my game like 2 times and its just not working, do you know what i can do?
Okay So If you have a quest 3 and after you patch bonelab with lemon loader it won’t work and that’s why it takes long so I’ll edit this comment if I have any news the only thing different is patching bonelab so wait and i give news.
Whenever I get to the step to where I have to boot up bonelab for the first time, ill leave it on and loading for a solid 20 minutes without anything happening. All it shows is the 3 dots loading sign. Any hints as to anything I did wrong or is something is not working? if so please let me know.
So far I followed this exactly but the problem I found is I don’t see any of the machines in void except for the pink cosmetic one and I can’t see any multiplayer stuff so any ideas what I could do?
is it still playable since patch 4 is here? i know that fusion isnt patch 4 yet does that mean that this guide wont work? i cant join patch 3 servers, they all say that my game version is outdated, do i need some sort of version between patch 3 and patch 4?
when i turn on fussion helper it wont find my headset even though i turned on both the buttons. Edit: ok so I figured out that you have to be IN bonelab when you turn on fussion helper and then it will start running
When I was first starting Bonelab after patching with lemon loader, it was taking an extremally long time to load(I was expecting long but Jesus Christ), plus it only popped up the "open app or restore" button for a small amount of time(not enough to hit open app). I then re-patched it with lemon loader to give it a retry. I opened Bonleab and it didn't even give me the "open app or restore" popup. I also timed it and it was taking over 20 minutes to load so I just turned off my quest. should I delete Bonelab and start from the very, very beginning? Or should I just keep re-patching and retrying?
I think lemonloader might not work on quest 3, unless I’m doing something differently than the last two times I did it on quest 2, because when I try and patch bonelab at the end it always gives an error about how it can’t save the data and if I’m sure if I want to continue and the time I did it broke bonelab and it never loaded even after 20 minutes
You have to back up your obb files and put them back when you're done, lemon loader automatically deletes them and is supposed to replace them, but quest 3 is weird
when i tried this it kept on saying that i needed to backup the game data when i found where im supost to back the game data up to i cant use it for "my privacy" i am so close to curbstomping my meta quest 3 please send help
its been loading the first restart for lemonloader for 30 minutes but it wont load ive been very patient but cant wait any longer im starting to loose hope
@@monreeee_KD23 You most likely have an old version of lemon loader, so you have to delete it and reinstall the newest version, then repatch Bonelab. It should work after that.
Idk why but when i try to select the right File for lemon Installer on Quest IT doesnt let me do it because of Security reasons Does anybody know how to fix this

By the way “for creator” standalone means no external devices other than device specified basically meaning standalone quest only no pc no phone no tablet no device other than quest so remember that for your next video you make like this
Yeah none of this works anymore. The Zuck saw to that. Can't set up the data backup folder and you just stay in black screen limbo forever past an hour when you load up Bonelab to apply the update/mod.
Ok so im currently waiting for bonelab to load and just downloaded fusion, lib, and ragdoll, and its been about ten minutes, is this normal? (i have quite a few mods installed) update: i quit and rejoined the game and only the bit-mart is there also fusionhelper just has a bunch of files in it but no .exe
Tried the lemonloader patch 3 times . Allways works to the point where I have to re-install . Then I click on "install" and this piece of shit pops the "DO NOT USE PIRATED SOFWARE!!! RESTORE NOW!!!" message on screen . I allways click on open app , but it just keeps comming back and everytime it pops up it stops the installation process . So I end up ininstalling the game and can't patch it properly. Big thanks to meta for being so helpful
it worked i had to use a 2 apps called shuzuku and lighting launcher so make it so lemon loader can see data then removed obb and save files and copied them in downloads then patched booted it readded them did ur tutorial now im playing fusion on quest 3 no probs thanks mini
Ok so y’all I found a way for quest 3 so it is lemon loader but before you patch it back up your game using side quest then patch it but when you patch it. It won’t work so when you patch it it removes your obb files so you have to back up your game patch it and put your backup files in the obb files and i think it will work. (For quest 3)
Why does every video have 'standalone' in the title but you use a PC in the video? I can't figure out how to use FusionHelper because you show it with a PC
guess what, idiots at meta decided to lock down the whole data folder, so no more code mods for bonelab quest, and no manually downloading mods on quest, the ingame thing is just bad, it dosent say how big the mod is, how long the download will take, AND YOU CANT EVEN CANCEL THE DOWNLOAD, all the effort that went into bonelab fusion quest support can be thrown out of the window i guess
Also for anyone who doesn't have a PC at all there's a version of The mod you can download called fusion riptide and it's fully stand alone but you can't join public only friends
