This video has been a literal lifesaver. My photos can actually print clearly without pixels showing. Couldn’t be happier with the results! Thank you for this, you’re a hero, dude.
The best way to upscale a picture is to enlarge it by 110% and do this several times , do the test and you will be surprised how good the quality is , even to 1000% it look very good !!!!!
GREAT video. I have just ONE suggestion for you. Stop saying "Click OFF" or "Check OFF". That is confusing. OFF implies REMOVING the checkmark when in fact, you meant to say "CLICK ON" or "CHECK THE BOX", etc. Or, just say simply CHECK or UNCHECK.
is this the OLD version of Ps? I don't have the photoshop drop down. Just has the Ps Logo and when you hit it just says, Restore, Minimize or, Close! but I'll keep going
Really good video...and helped massively. One thing tho...when you asked for the Enhance Preserve Details, it sounded like you wanted it to be checked off!! Was only when you got to the next part that I realised it should be on. Apart from that, worked like a charm.
Love the video, but you can lose the background music. Too distracting. I've watched other videos with just your voice and it's very good. No need for music.
i disagree with these people's comments. i always love your tutorials but this one it didn't work for me. the image was worse than before. it would be nice if you can show us on an image that is bad. the image you used still had good clarity before you made changes. anyway, thankyou.
you're saving my life 😭i have an assignment due and the resolution of my rendered pictures isn't good enough. With this technique i improved them immensely
This is a helpful tutorial, but I'd suggest not saying "checked off" when you're talking about selecting options. To me, that implies turning them off or unchecking them, and I had to look closely to confirm if they were checked or not in your video. Instead, just say "make sure that ______ is selected." (or "is checked".)
Thanks for the easy to follow tutorial! Can believe it only took a few steps to do this. Previously I would have gone down the rabbit hole with a bunch of layers, filters and coffee to make this happen. 😲
Your tutorials are so easy to follow. Do you have any on the ripped paper effect? Trying to make a horizontal design for a 20 oz tumbler. I’ve looked up at other tutorials but they talk and move so fast 😅
Awesome directions! Thank you. Question though, I changed an old 72 DPI photo to 300, how would I do step 2, layer part on an old B/W photo? The photo looks like it was taken around the mid 1800's or late.
i am just beginning to learn photoshop 2020 and editing pictures your video here was very detailed SLOW and simple!! i love it that you take your time when you are explaining things tysm!! ♥
Outstanding mentor, as always! Though Photoshop is the best, I was too lazy to use it, so I went with something quicker & easier. When I am looking for a professional retouch, other image editing platforms can't compete. In my research, I found autoRetouch, and I found it to be so professional, simpler, and easier to use. Though I plan to apply your strategy to my tool.
Using Photoshop's "Image Size" feature in conjunction with "Preserve Details 2.0" to convert low-resolution images to high-resolution ones for results that are crisp and detailed.
I was too lazy to do this for my cut out object regarding my youtube thumbnails, but WOW what a HUGE difference I got with an object that i masked out of a screenshot.. its sharp and much better resolution now! Thanks man!
I saw several videos on this subject and kept getting error messages, until YOU broke 1 THING DOWN the Pixels, and the error stop, I wasn't paying attention to that
Hi Brendan! Just crossed over your channel, while trying to upscale a 'heavy crop' sports photo into a poster. Pilot loved it...know wants a A2 poster! I would love to meet his expectations. Just a bit divided between what to do first. Start from the original cropped picture and work the enhance AI in PS or LR or use the method portray in this video? (Going to watch the linked one as well) Thanks ahead for any guidance! Cheers
no idea but such tricks never works for me, only it's looking well because image is good, the girl have ashiny eyes and flat skin..lol just being honest...
When I import into another document sometimes and then scale down my image loses quality. How can I make sure it won’t do that. That it’ll remain high quality
it would have been better if u used a bad picture to begin with. That photo is already a good one so its kinda hard to understand how those feature really work.
I was so confused LOL. Yeah, you check off things with a list. As in, they're done. In this case, he should have used "checked on" or even "make sure the box by it is checked"
Just discovered your channel, and have to say, you have earned another subscriber. Excellent information. I was just wondering though, I didn't see a pop up for scaling up an image, like you said. Do you have that video available yet?
